The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
She perused the windows as she meandered down the sidewalk, the sun warm on her back in the heart of summer in Sacrosanct. A rare day off, a break from the nocturnal life of a bar tender and the change almost felt surreal. Her long fingers reached out to dance lightly across the bushes that bloomed so vibrantly in the light of day. Their petals soft and fragrant to her sensitive nose. Occasionally she liked coming to this part of town, although years back she had only walked these streets under the cover of night with a much different goal. Now she came here to gaze at the finer things littering the displays and watch the people scurry about with places to be and things to do. Some might be envious of their lifestyle, but it all seemed so hurried and rushed and she wasn't so sure all the money in the world was worth that. She had seen what money did to some people and decided she was good long ago.
Still, she could enjoy the fruits of their labors on such rare days as this as a delectable scent caught her attention. A bakery just up the street seemed to be piping the smell of freshly baked goods directly out into the crowd, and it was working as it caused her own footsteps to quicken until she found herself peering at the mouthwatering treats inside arranged in beautiful patterns and decorated in such brilliant colors. Unable to resist she ducked inside, fighting the crowd in the small shop and purchasing a few sweet treats, one for herself and a few to take back to the rest of her coworkers at the Ark when she returned to work tomorrow night. The sweet tooth seemed to be a shared trait amongst the motley crew that called that freighter home. Perhaps an odd bunch to an outsider, but she had never met a more fiercely loyal group and Tetradore's offer to join them was still fresh in her mind.
Sitting down at one of the small tables outside the building she unwrapped the cupcake she had purchased for herself. Delicately separating the paper wrapper on the bottom and diving in she contemplated the Panther's proposal. It hadn't been her intention when she started working at the bar to join the Nightshade pack, she had always been a longer finding it was much better to only rely on herself at the end of the day. Others opened you up to disappointment and pain, it was something she had always believed and yet working with them she had come to appreciate them all. For the first time in her life she had friends and a consistent paycheck that gave her stability unlike ever before, but was she really prepared to go all in. The idea swirled around her mind as she slowly chipped away at her delectable treat, unable to hide a smile as she imagined Tobias' reaction to getting his tomorrow.
