The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

With one hundred floors and a 125-foot spire, the Starlight Tower rises high above the Sacrosanct skyline. More than just a landmark, the Starlight Tower offers a unique mix of restaurants, shops, and offices spaced throughout the building. Organized into nine verticle zones, each of which features a sky lobby and a light-filled garden atrium which merge the upscale interior with a faux landscaped exterior setting.
The ebony card within the palm of her hand hardly generated much of a reaction from the young woman. After all, the color of the bank card was quite the norm within the social groups that Chizue had frequented within Japan - enough so that she hardly even gave it a consideration when she'd run it in the point of sale system. Rather, Chizue's thoughts were far more preoccupied with the process of quitting and what, exactly, she intended to do afterwards with her new found freedom. The petite Asian closed out the table, only to turn and move deeper into the 'employee only' areas of the restaurant. She paused within the doorway of the managerial office - one that was often shared with Isolt herself on the days the woman was present in the restaurant...which was rare, of late. Her manager glanced up at Chizue's arrival and swiftly the young girl put in her resignation with a rather brief word and a swift turning on her heels - hardly leaving room for any sort of conversation. Her manager made no effort to chase after her, Chizue instead leaving unhindered as she made her way to the front lobby area where she had told Oliver to meet her. His figure was easy to pick out, the black trench coat conforming to his broad shoulders as his dark eyes surveyed the restaurant.
The now-ex waitress promptly handed over the plastic bag of food and the sleek black credit card. A warm simper danced upon her features, even as she assured the man she hadn't taken some exorbitant tip with the free reign of his finances. He seemed to believe her, at the very least, as he slid his credit card back into his wallet. Chizue was content to lead the way out of the restaurant, the girl almost keen on placing this life behind her, even despite the watchful gaze from her manager from behind the bar. Her chocolate irises turned upward at her companion at his inquiry, her head bobbed lightly. "Of course I did it." She responded, as if it was the most obvious answer in the world. Her steps, however, faltered as Oliver led her towards an awaiting limousine. Chizue's brow rose as she eyed the car, only to glance towards the man beside her and then back towards the vehicle. Seriously? A limousine? Who even uses limousines these days? A town car, sure, but a limousine? Even at the height of her career, they'd never used a stretch limousine. "Well, okay, Mr. Fancy Pants." She muttered under her breath as she climbed into the car.
Her gaze drifted over the interior of the vehicle, Oliver joining her shortly after as the car smoothly rolled forward to join the flow of traffic. It was still too early in the evening for Sacrosanct's nightlife to be entirely underway, resulting in a rather short trip to the bustling City Creek Center. The limousine door was opened for her and with a soft inhale, Chizue climbed out of the vehicle and onto the sidewalk. There was something magical about the city at night - something that the Japanese girl had been unable to fully appreciate in her 'normal' demeanor. Her world, of late, had been too full of waking nightmares and fear to find wonder in the sparkling night lights and the thriving life around her. A warm grin spread across her features as Chizue enthusiastically pointed towards an empty bench, the girl all following Oliver towards it before settling, quite contentedly, before the fountain. The water before them bubbled happily as it splashed down on itself, the bright lights beneath it casting a serene glow. Admittedly, Chizue was content to simply indulge in the peacefulness of the moment...and yet, she was equally as willing to engage in her companion's attempts at conversation.
The young girl's head shook ever so slightly at her companion's query, the topic brushed off with a flick of her wrist. "Nah, I never really leave my house anymore. Unless work makes me." She answered with a small shrug. Her gaze scanned the crowd around them. Only to note a small gaggle of Asian teenagers walking up towards the mall's entrance somewhere behind them. The young woman paused immediately in her steps, her eyes widening in recognition. A small simper painted Chizue's lips, even as her head shifted to pay even greater attention to the man beside her and his startling new realization. "Hungry?" She inquired, her head tilting thoughtfully, "A bit peckish, I suppose. I ate two days ago." She informed him, not quite realizing exactly what sort of 'hunger' he spoke of, at least, until he offered the meal in the box upon his lap. "Oh! Oh I thought...er...I mean, it's okay. I haven't really gotten used to all the American food." She admitted with another raise of her shoulders. "You should enjoy it!" Chizue insisted, only to lean closer towards him, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial tone as she gestured towards the small group of teenagers. "Do you think they heard about Sacrosanct's most eligible bachelor being here so fast?!"
