The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Hearing the other woman say my name, caused me to smile even brighter. I was completely losing myself in the joy of her company. I had never intended to stay a long time, not with Nick needing me back home, but time ceased to matter in this moment. I could feel the pressure around us growing, it was that sort of feeling you get before a thunderstorm hits, I worried briefly that I might be letting my guard down too much, than I might be about to do something stupid, but I forgot about it as quickly as it came. Amaya... It was a pretty name, but before I could say anything, she'd brought me closer to her, and I felt rather light headed, and it wasn't just from the dip. I giggled softly as she brought me back up and nodded. "Aye, Captain. It suits you."
With a slight crinkle of my nose, I smiled with a carefree nature. Her intention was clear, and I turned about face and scooted back up onto the stool I'd previously occupied, my bloody mary still as I'd left it. Before Amaya sat down though, I reached over and grabbed her hat she'd left on the counter, and slid it onto the pink wig I was wearing. "Ahh, Now I've a bit more o' that piratey flare, though I think ma hair is givin' it all away?" I gave her a crooked smirk and fluffed my pink wig with both hands. "Now, this is my first time here...ya know, kinda new here and all that jazz, so I'm feeling like a surprise. What would you say is the BEST drink you've had? I'll try anything." I let my elbow rest on the counter, and let the side of my head rest in the palm of my hand. My blue eyes watching Amaya with an amused smile.
