East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

WHAT A GORGEOUS DISGRACE

I was so focused on drawing out the emotions I was feeling from the girl that I didn't even notice the weather change so drastically. After I calmed down some I finally lifted my gaze from my sketch and looked out the window. My brows furrowed in some concern, I wouldn't be able to leave until the storm began to subside a bit. Don't get me wrong, I loved living life on the edge, but driving a motorcycle in this storm wouldn't even be a good rush. It's alright though, thankfully I had nowhere to be today, so that meant I could use the day to do whatever it is I desired. I then turned my attention back to my sketch, and it was then I heard a new voice speak.

Once again I looked up, my brows furrowed in annoyance until I realized it was the woman I had started to draw. A small smirk appeared on my lips when I realized the tone in her voice hinted at something a little more sexual. I turned the drawing bad towards her slightly so she could get a better look at my work in progress, and I studied her face as she looked at it. I liked seeing the reaction my passion got from others, and it was obvious that she was impressed. I bit down on my lip once again as our eyes locked and she spoke once again. I kept my mouth closed as she sat across from me, the only thing I did was arch a brow in curiosity at the confidence in this woman.

"I'm not trying to draw you, I am drawing you."

I laughed at the comment about her ass, and I leaned forward slightly. My arms resting on the edge of the table as I studied her yet again. She was definitely an exquisite creature, and I got a sense that she was something other than human. It was strange really; I normally didn't get those feelings, so maybe it was just the leftover from the emotional baggage I always seemed to feel from others. My eyes locked with her as I tried to get a read on what she was feeling as well, and all I could really get from her was interest and curiosity. Her feelings seemed to mirror my own in that sense, so I of course had to get to know her a little better to see if there could be some excitement in store.

"Maybe I'm just drawing out my dream woman. I mean, that's what art is all about isn't it? Passion, desire? Maybe I was drawing what I want; maybe I'm an ass girl."

That teasing sexual grin appeared on my lips, a slight blush coloring my cheeks as I grabbed my pencil and continued my sketching. At least now I had her directly in front of me so I could add the details a little better in the part of her face that I was capturing. The drawing was of her turned the slightest bit, enough to see the luscious curve of her body, and a glimpse of her face from peering over her shoulder. It was all still a rough sketch, but it was very obvious what it was. After a couple silent minutes I tore my attention away from my drawing and smiled up at her again. I didn't want to be rude, so I decided to push my supplies to the side.

"I'm Ashtyn."

I grabbed my coffee and brought it to my lips to take a long sip before I set it back down. My grey eyes never leaving the woman before me. I had a feeling that this was going to be an interesting day, because with just the couple minutes we interacted I knew there was a free spirit to match with mine. Maybe we would have some fun together today, and maybe, just maybe other needs would be taken care of.
