East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Despite the perhaps good-natured pestering of the young fairy, Tetradore offered little more or the way of conversation then a simple baritone grunt. His own past had long since taught him that such feminine attention ended particularly badly for both parties, even though such was no longer the case, the lessons had been far too ingrained within him, enough so that he tended to avoid such situations all together. He was, in some ways, entirely oblivious to the good looks that nature had provided him with. He was so used to being the object of terror that it rarely occurred to him that others might find him so physically attractive. Still, Tetradore hardly dwelled long on the topic, instead pausing as the girl commented on the men that often visited the burlesque. A soft sigh left his lips as his gaze shifted over the group at large, noting such figures within the crowd. "Are you really that surprised?" He inquired, his eyebrow raised. As far as he was concerned this sort of business seemed to cater to such individuals. It was, however, still Nadya's place of business. If he could profit off of violence it was hardly his place to question her profits off of lust.

He hardly lingered long in the burlesque, however, instead moving towards the door with a decided purpose. He paused only at the sound of the young woman's voice, questioning his intent. His emerald eyes glanced behind him at the fae, his shoulders shrugging in response. "We need to go somewhere where there's different species. We can sit on a bench in front of the cafe and just people watch. It's the only way I can think of to test out our theory unless you have a better plan in mind." He was willing to allow her to offer him some sort of alternative if his seemed so detestable. Tetradore could hardly blame her though - crowds had never particularly been Tetradore's forte. They caused him unnecessary anxiety even if he kept such emotions relatively well under wraps. Still - downtown, being out in the cold air, it still allowed him to breathe. It still let him feel as if there was an escape with the night time expanse above him.

He stepped out into the frigid air, reaching into his pocket to fish for the pair of keys he knew was there. Tetradore pressed the unlock button, the lamborghini across the street flashing in immediate response. "I never liked the cold. We're not made for it." The man responded, referring to his feline self rather than the human portion of him. His family had always preferred the more temperate climates and Risque more often than not left the heaters within the employee's only section blasting in the winter. She liked the way it made her feel "mortal". Tetradore made his way to the sports car, silent even though he listened to the young woman's words. Conversations were perhaps equally not his strong point, still, he opened the car door for her, pausing to glance at her only at the direct inquiry she had for him. "Yes, I was. Get in, we can get something warm to drink at the cafe."
