The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Alexander would have quite the show if he chose to look into my mind tonight. The colors in here are so bright and both men are startlingly handsome, like a white haired and blonde haired knight standing off against each other in a fairy tale. Where's the dragon? I glance around all suspicious like and giggle softly to myself.
I ask after Frost's costume and he seems to see the amusement in his attire, his words causing another giggle to fall from my lips. "I get it!" I exclaim, probably a bit too loud. "Winter! Since you're all cold and stuff." I laugh even louder, my hand finally coming up to slightly stifle the sounds. I note the tension between Frost and Alexander instantly but I can't put a finger on anything since the blurriness hasn't gone away. I do see the quirk of his lip when I call him stud though and this makes me even more giddy. I made a funny! "Says the one who can't keep his hands to himself." I slur as I turn to go back to Alexander with him. "And you try walking straight in heels." I mutter back. As we reach Alexander, I make a remark about their "friendship" and Frost responds. I scowl.
"That's not nice! Alexander is anyone's type." My cheeks glow red the moment the comment falls from my lips. Alexander tells him that I am a barista at his cafe and I watch Frost's brow rise. He starts to speak but I have to tell him that I don't have to wear the maid outfit. I just have to. And so I do. Yet as I lean into Alexander, I feel the air thicken slightly. Call it were instinct even in a slurred form. At Frost's sudden remark about Alexander dressing me though, my own brow rises, my head tilting. "He doesn't dress me. I pick out my own outfits, I'll have you know." I say in a more pointed way, my brows furrowing. When I ask for a drink, Frost reaches for a drink and hands it to me. I take it carefully, trying not to spill as I lean into Alexander again.
At Frost's sudden question, I turn a puzzled look upon him. I shrug. "I don't know, never been on one." I murmur as I take a sip of my drink. Alexander stays pretty quiet throughout most of the conversation though he does agree with Frost on the whole dressing thing. I don't get it. He tells Frost boats are better than they used to be and asks if there's one he wants to show us. I look between the two now, wondering where this is going. I've read about boats and how they take people places on the water. It sounds scary, not being able to put your feet on the ground and not control where you're going.
