The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
Addiction was a concept that was all too well known to the charismatic vampire. In a fashion, the two were not terribly different. Darien eyed the liquor in front him as if his life depended on it and in truth, the same need was mirrored within the irises of Sebastian's all too blue gaze. He needed this moment, he needed Darien, and he needed the blood that coursed through his veins in the same fashion that the fae himself was too tantalized to abstain from the drink hitting his tongue. It was perhaps this need that left Sebastian all too willing to overlook the fellow's excessive consumption altogether, regardless of the effect that his high blood alcohol level would have upon Sebastian himself if the vampire managed to achieve his goals tonight. Instead, Sebastian was far too distracted with the brush of his cold, dead hand against the much warmer one of his companion's. He had wondered what they would feel like - the fae. He felt colder than a mere mortal and yet, somehow still warmer than the skin of his own species. The temperature alone was enough to make him want more, to make him yearn for even a sliver of warmth that his own body was no longer able to create and already his thoughts had already begun to wander to undressing the fellow he'd only just met.
The compliment came all too easy for Sebastian, leaving his lips with a certain sort of unwavering confidence that hardly lacked sincerity. After all, he was hardly being disingenuous. Darein was the only being within the bar worth his while. He was the only one that tugged even an inkling at Sebastian's inquisitiveness. His acute hearing could detect the fae's heart pumping faster, he could almost hear the blood coursing through his veins and in an entirely habitual, animalistic fashion, Sebastian found his tongue brushing against the tip of his all too sharp fangs. Intently, he watched the subtle pink hue that filled Darien's cheekbones and frankly Sebastian found himself unable to help the sense of satisfaction that filled his chest. Oh yes, this was going quite well after all.
The vampire's crystalline eyes watched the nearly embarrassed fashion at which Darien threw back another shot of Vodka and slowly his own long slender fingers reached out to the last glass. He was quite certain he was going to regret this later, consuming this shot on top of whatever was already coursing through Darien's veins was surely going to take a toll on him and yet, it would have been rude to simply leave Darien as the only one drinking. With considerable more care, Sebastian brought the final shot of Grey Goose to his lips, swallowing it in one smooth motion before gingerly placing it next to Darien's empty glass. He could already feel it burning down his throat and soon he knew too well that it was going to take a particularly more bit of concentration to keep his usual meticulous control in place.
Fortunately, he hardly was left lingering upon this mistake long, instead his gaze followed Darien's hand as he gestured towards the businessmen the vampire had the pleasure of earlier meeting. "Mmhm." The vampire responded, his gaze flickering back towards Darien's features as the man continued. The corner of lips twitched upwards all too freely at the Fae's admittance that the situation was turning far more beneficial than it had been before. "I'm glad you think so." He commented, his gaze freely meeting his companion's eyes, holding his gaze perhaps longer than was appropriate by any friendly social interaction. It was perhaps the steadfastness of his gaze that caused Sebastian to watch as his cheeks filled even more with color, the blood rushing so rapidly within his companion was enough to make Sebastian's lips part ever so slightly in want. God, he smelled delectable.
Sebastian forced himself to focus upon the man's words, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. "Looking?" He inquired, his head tilting to the side, "For what? More fae? Love? Luck?" They seemed like such reasonable reasons to go searching, reasons he'd heard uttered to him many a time before now. People were always looking for something, for someone, and more often than not, Sebastian had been happy to fulfil that role for a night. This would surely be no different, or so he thought. He noted the fashion at which Darien scooted closer in his seat and likewise too Sebastian leaned in ever just so, his crystalline blue gaze glancing upwards at the masculine features of his companion. A far too warm simper crossed Sebastian's features as he listened to the compliment of the shape of his lips. Hook, line, and sinker. It looks as if he hadn't lost his abilities to too woo his gender.
He watched as Darien all too quickly threw his attention upon their bartender, his confidence clearly waning as he made excuses for the words he clearly wasn't used to speaking out loud. The vampire could hardly help the soft chuckle that left his mouth, his hand reaching up to gingerly brush under Darien's chin, fully intending to pull his attention away from Debbie and back to the closeness they had only moments ago achieved. "No, Darien, I think you've been reading things exactly right." Sebastian leaned in enough so that there were but inches separating the pair, his voice nearly a soft whisper in Darien's ear. "Do you want me to kiss you?" He inquired, his gaze traveling from the man's eyes to the curve of Darien's lips, all he needed was a yes.
