The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
A soft sigh left the vampire's lips at the woman's announcement and yet, he wasn't terribly surprised. He found it hard to believe the hunter was even capable of seeing anything beyond the fact of what he had been forcefully turned into. In that way, he mused, perhaps they were not so much different. He didn't have a choice just as much as she too didn't. It was still a pity though - if you asked him. "Perhaps." He uttered simply in response, neither making any effort to offer a rebuttal, much less fall over himself to agree either. She would take considerable effort to coax her over this hurdle to even so much as withstand his presence, much less sleeping with him. Inquisitively he studied the young woman as she leaned back within her chair. He couldn't decide if she was worth the effort. People like her required constant concentration and even so, he suspected the second his affinity slipped even the slightest, he'd find a stake in his neck. The vampire wasn't sure he wanted to flirt so closely with death.
Sebastian was all too aware of the fashion in which she ignored the repetition of his inquiry and yet the vampire was hardly slighted. Instead, he fell silent, his crystalline gaze noting the phone in her hand as she texted whomever she deemed more important than him. Although, he suspected that would be a particularly long list considering the words she'd spoken but seconds ago. His gaze briefly flickered upwards to meet her own and yet, despite the challenging words and implicit prospect of their own game of hunt, the vampire remained entirely...placid.
"Because, I suppose, there might just be a chance for you to find some resemblance of affection in this crowd of misfits. And you wouldn't want to waste the opportunity of that on hunting down someone who doesn't particularly make a habit of killing." He glanced over towards the man that had brought him here in the first place, his crystalline gaze momentarily brushing against the fellows all too excited hand gestures that he should be moving right about now. "My companion might too take offense to it, if it matters." Sebastian shrugged ever so slightly, pushing back his chair with the intention of continuing his own trek around the room. "It was nice to meet you, Miss Gia. Good luck tonight." His head dipped ever so slightly, his body following suite in a fashion entirely indicative of the world he had lived within for so particularly long. It was, naturally, up to the hunter if she would pursue him beyond this rather disastrous round of speed dating but Sebastian couldn't help the futile hope that perhaps she might let him go.
