The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
Sebastian's head tilted slowly to the side as he listened to the roll of that foreign accent that lit every single syllable that left the lips of his newfound and certainly intriguing companion. He nodded ever so slightly in a show of agreement though offered little more in the way of actual words. Still, there was some truth to be had there. There was very little pleasure to be had in the death of another. After all, it meant there was no time to enjoy the feast, no time to clean up afterwards, instead it was little more then rushing away from the dead corpse or attempting to get rid of the body all together. It was little surprise to Sebastian that his species was regarded with noteworthy weariness. The majority of his kind were all too eager to drain their prey of every drop of blood that coursed through their veins and yet, Sebastian was entirely upon the fringe of such a general stereotype. Pleasure, he found, tasted far better then when pain and fear tainted their blood. He preferred listening to the way they moaned his name when his fangs sank into their neck. He preferred to feel their naked flesh against his own, their bodies still warm and for a brief moment, it made Sebastian feel truly alive. It was a sensation that only they could provide - his supposed victims. And then, when it was all said and done, he simply waved his victims off before stepping into the night to never be seen again. It was easier all around -not that many thought that way. But, then away, it was already established that he was atypical in every such regard.
In the end, however, the Englishman offered only a simple way of response to show his own thoughts on the rather dejecting topic. "There is little beauty in death, and even less pleasure." In a way, Sebastian was revealing far more of himself then might have otherwise done. This, this game, this was the only enjoyment he found within his immortal afterlife. The remembrance of such was quite a sober topic. Or at least, it would have been had his companion not taken that moment to step closer towards him. A small simper tugged at the corners of his lips, the vampire quickly forgetting his own thoughts as the prospect of the night once again tugged at his fancy. Sebastian was all too pleased to see that guard slowly dropping, those unconscious chemicals serving to build a bridge between the pair of men that might not have otherwise existed. Regardless, Sebastian didn't quite close the distance - at least, not yet. Instead, a small shrug crossed his shoulders at the fae's inquiry, his words entirely nonchalant despite the promise of what their evening certainly could hold. "As you said before, I offer my affections, my attention, and my bed and in exchange I ask for just a touch of blood in the heat of the moment. You won't want something as much as you will want my bite and in return that moment will be the best you've ever felt." It was, possibly, the most direct that Sebastian had ever been with his intentions and, in some fashion, too his powers.
He paused for a moment, the man's tone turning surprisingly solemn and sincere, "But, you will leave me tonight whole and alive, regardless what happens, you have my word." Sebastian's head inclined ever so slightly at his words, as if the gesture alone somehow went hand and hand with the promise he gaze. He always did his best to see his words through, when he bothered to offer any kind of assurances, but of course his newfound friend hardly knew this. It was a risk, no matter what gilded words Sebastian provided him. Frankly, the vampire could only hope that the prospect of what could be was more tantalizing than any previous damage his species might have inflicted upon the fae in the days long gone. Sebastian gestured ever so slightly, away from the fire and back in the direction he had come, stepping closer towards the fae in the process. "Does my proposition intrigue you, at all? Enough to leave this...event."
