Amelia felt hands on her as the stranger helped her into a standing position. Her hand was instinctively placed along her growing abdomen, as if guarding the child from the assault the concrete was sure to make with her belly. But someone had stopped her fall...that someone being vampire that she had not met.

Just as soon as she was standing, she removed her hand form her belly, brushing off the dirt and looking up at the man who had come to her aid. She tried to hide her belly, to not draw any attention to it. She knew her species was not supposed to ever procreate in this sense, so naturally, if this vampire found out that she could do something no one else of their species could do, then perhaps he might want to further investigate her. As of this moment, she had no idea if this vampire was friendly or if he meant her harm. Hell, he could want to experiment on her. Troy would have a fit if he found her missing. God help anyone who tried to lay a hand on her or their unborn child.

After a few moments of shock, Amelia realized that the man had asked her a question. She looked up to him softly, offering him a reassuring smile. "I'm quite alright...I just tripped." She would play herself off as a woman with little balance. While she normally was very agile, this baby bump was throwing off her center of gravity. With each day that it grew outward, it took Amelia more and more time to get accustomed to the growing life. She hoped she wouldn't end up hurting this child. Troy certainly wouldn't be happy with that.

Realizing that she was lost in her thoughts and being quite rude to the man who had only tried to save her, she offered him a soft smile. "Thank you, sir, for your help." She didn't know the man's name. In fact, he didn't look that familiar to him at all. While she hadn't been in Sacrosanct long, she hadn't met many other than Troy. Most of her time had been spent with her fairy boyfriend and less on trying to learn the city and those who lived in it.
