North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

It wasn't unusual for Anna to get easily distracted. Once she had made it up the flights of stairs after the wounded employee her attention turned to those occupied rooms. It would be so easy to exert her strength on those handles and break in to devour them. They were like mice in their cages waiting to be picked off by the cat. They fragile nature was what always intrigued the little vampire. She couldn't even remember being human so the concept of mortality was always interesting to test the limits of their durability.

That stray memory of her new playmate paired with that red head who was attempting to build a coven caused Anna to pause. Was this a trap? She was in no way fearful of being punished for her actions but it was curious to think that the very one who stood beside a supreme attempting to make vampires...docile...was a monster just like her.

Anna's sapphire eyes studied Damon's offered hand, glancing at his fingers. What did a ring have anything to do with it? That was an entirely human thing after all. Anna looked slightly skeptical. "You like to break things and she doesn't....but...you still like her? You're still with her?" It seemed like polar opposites shouldn't be together. How could that be? Anna curiously tilted her head up at the man. "What if she always wants vampires to be good? What if she makes you not hunt anymore?....Would you do it? Would you stay with her?" In some way it reminded the child of her complicated relationship with Sebastian. They were opposites and despite her attempts to 'fix' him it seemed futile. How can two opposites be around each other?
