She hadn't planned on coming out today to get in a fight but hell, she as never one to run away from a good fight. And from here, the guy looked like just another human. The place seemed to be crawling with them. He didn't smell like a were and she didn't really know any of the other creatures that lived in supernatural. She'd only found out she was a were herself a few months ago. Before that, she was just a coyote who had been raised and cared for by coyotes. She didn't know how to walk on two legs and talk a few months ago. It seemed she had hit a nerve too. When she called the guy a human, he smirked at her and asked who she was calling human. She snorted. Despite the monster between them, she could still find time to banter with the guy. "You, obviously." She smirked right back, her eyes glittering. As she got ready to face down the demon though, she saw something glowing out of the corner of her eyes. Snapping her head back around, she saw the blade suddenly appear in his hand and she tilted her head, curiosity in her gaze. How did he just do that? But she didn't waste any time, charging the beast with a snarl as she leaped for its back and started tearing at its flesh. The beast went to bucking and she grappled for purchase, doubling her efforts to do some damage. Finally the guy charged in with his neat glowing blade. The beast lunged at him, going straight for his pretty face but the guy apparently had decent reflexes because he pulled back and she let out a sigh of relief before she went back to slashing at it. She could see as he lunged forward that he had struck true, the beast reacting with a flinch she could feel from its back before it pressed forward, obviously trying to kill the man before he could do more damage. But she had to give him credit, the guy didn't give up. He was calling out to her so she tried to hook into the creature's marked up back so she could lean in a little to hear him better. He was telling her to get it to rear up again. She grinned. "Easy peasy." She reached higher, trying to slash up the back of the creature's head. She even tried to lean around to slash at its throat but was banking more on distracting it enough to make it want to get her off so it should try to throw itself backwards to try to smash her since the bucking wasn't working. That would open up the shot for ol' what's his name. See? She could still work as a team when she wanted to. Pack instinct. |
