It wasn't her fault that she was a bit curious on what he meant about comparing her rough life to Tetradores'. Their Alpha wasn't the type that talked about himself or even about his past. Actually the man hardly spoke at all. It wasn't a bad thing. It was something to get used to! For being ignored and barely spoken to in the past she had assumed their Alpha didn't like her with his lack of communication. It took a while for her to understand that he was just being himself. A man that hardly spoke. She never assumed the man had a fantastic upbringing. Their kind was easy to be spot. Those that suffered the harshness of abuse. He never asked her about her life and she respectfully never asked him about his own. When her fiancé explained who and what a Risky was, her dial tilted to the side a bit confused about his choice of using two emotions to explain how they felt. Angry sad. Perhaps he meant they both felt these two emotions at the same time. Those were the two emotions she felt when she remembered about her past. That this Risky person was gone, was a good thing, but those last three words 'away for now' didn't soothe that feeling of worry that was slowly building up.
Learning that her Father was still alive did not bring her any comfort. She had seen him die. Knowing that somewhere, out there, that despicable man roamed around made her afraid that he would come. He would come for her, one day. Tetradore had promised her that he would deal with him should he come back. But, who would deal with Risky when she came for him, for them? She didn't know much about this woman, but she would find out, and help them any way she can should this Risky step on their doorstep. That is what family did, right? Help each other with their demons? Seeing her mate start to get riled up she didn't dig into the conversation anymore. Instead she led him away from the statue, which was a good thing, because he had found one of the answers to the riddle. Now she was feeling annoyed that he was snickering at her after she said she could be like him, she could be bad too! There just had to be a very good reason to be that way, and pushing down an innocent woman and yanking the hair off her beard didn't seem like a good idea. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as he continued to snicker, that hissing sound, she heard when he found others funny...but never her. Hearing that she wasn't weak did bring her some comfort, but her face contorted into a scowl when he said she wasn't bad. One day she would show him, she would show them all she could be!
The idea of driving to the mountains was not an excursion she was willing to take that day. They would need to pack to leave the palace for a few days and she would wish to speak to some sort of scientist that understood mountains. Instead she wanted to spend time with him out of the palace roaming about looking for fun things to do, and along the way solving the riddle, but more importantly just having fun. After all that's why they came to Italy, right? To have fun and enjoy Dorian's wedding. They had already done the latter and now they can focus on the first thing. Telling him that the driving here was different seemed to douse away his idea that he should be the one driving. She nodded quietly in agreement when he agreed that she should be the one to drive the car. His question on where she would like to go for their honeymoon did catch her off guard. He was the one that made all the decisions and she simply followed. A small smile crept on her lips as he agreed to the idea of going to the Safari in Africa, it would be a completely different place something they would be unfamiliar with, and yet his species might enjoy it. Happily she spoke as she looked over that crimson flyer for the circus.
That he wished to go to the circus she couldn't help, but grin as she nodded her head quickly. The circus would be a lot of fun! They might even be able to enjoy the show, and she would be able to show off to her mate that she could be a bit troublesome, if only so it would end with up with no one getting hurt. Seeing him look over at the car that was innocently parked along the street she gasped and shook her head. Stealing a car would cause pain to another and that was no something she would participate in. Grabbing his hand she entwined her hand with his own, as she led him quickly away from that car, hardly wishing to participate in that video game the boys liked to play, 'Grand Theft Auto.' Raven was looking for a bus stop as they walked, but the farther they went, they didn't find what she was looking for. As they walked along they came across a parking lot filled with cars. There was a sign above it that said 'affittare una macchina.' Perfect! A place to rent cars! Leading him down that way she noticed that these cars didn't look like typical cars people would rent. Rather they looked expensive. Although Raven had brought them to a spot to rent a car she was slowly coming to the realization that these cars, although could be rentable, were luxury cars...and she had accidentally brought her mate! As a man with sleek black hair and a red leather jacket made his approach, she turned to look at her companion.
