Nadya was well aware of Malia's inexperience with the finer line of clothes, the woman's upbringing making clothes a new thing to begin with. Tonight, however, she wanted her fellow packmate to oblige her in practicing wearing a dress. It was an upscale restaurant after all which meant Malia couldn't wear jeans and a tank top. Malia looked truly gorgeous and Nadya made sure to tell her that before leading her downstairs. Once in the car she cast a few glances in the rearview mirror at Malia fidgeting in the back. "Relax your shoulders and don't pull on the dress, you'll just make yourself more anxious." She smiled softly and shook her head.
Once outside of the restaurant, that ease dissipated slightly when Henry didn't appear while they were waiting. Even though Nadya had met Henry once before it had been brief and this time he was making an impression on Frost. What should happen if Henry did something to upset her boyfriend? When she had first learned that Henry was her brother's creation she had tried to keep it a secret from Frost. The relationship had been so new, so fresh, that she was unsure if Frost would take any further vengeance of sorts on the Nightshade pack. She knew now that the concern was unnecessary. Still, could Henry say or behave in some way to break the ceasefire Frost and struck with her brother?
Frost seemed unconcerned about Henry's tardiness though as he settled to wait beside her after informing the restaurant they were waiting on the last of their party. Nadya sighed as she looped her arm around Frost's, relaxing slightly from his proximity. At long last the man in question appeared from around the corner. It didn't take a fool to notice Henry's gaze rove over Malia's form before turning to her and Frost. Nadya nodded politely, "Glad you were able to finally join us." She glanced over at Frost to see how he took to Henry before gently nudging her boyfriend along. "Let's get inside."
"Ah, Nadya, you made it." A beaming middle-aged man Italian man was quick to step up to their group with arms open wide in welcome. Nadya smiled and allowed the man to take her hand and kiss one cheek then the other in greeting. "Paolo, thank you for finding a spot for us on such short notice." "Of course, it was no trouble at all. Come, come." Paolo motioned for the group to follow him to a table in a private nook of the restaurant. "A Chateau for the table to start then?" Nadya nodded to Paolo's question. Paolo smiled warmly at the group, bowing slightly before hurrying off. "Paolo is the owner here and was a regular at the burlesque." Nadya explained once Paolo was gone as she settled into her seat. Because of the status of her old burlesque, it was common place for business owners and other wealthy men to regular the place.
