audette rousseau
A soft frown crossed the ballerina's features at the very mention of being rescued, yet again. Though Adrien was hardly an unwanted savior, Audette had, admittedly, quiet enough of those brushes with danger. That stumble within her usually pleasant mood hardly lasted terribly long, however. The girl was quick to wave off the whole affair altogether as she danced just out of Adrien's grasp, the action clearly meant to prompt him further down the alleyway. The Hunter's declaration that it was a story he might desire for later was one she agreed to with a small bob of her head, after all, Audette was more than content to forget the whole affair altogether. Instead, Audette directed the conversation to that dinner she had been promised, the ballerina inquiring just where the Dark Hunter intended to take her that might so rival with that chardonnay that called her name from the comfortable depths of her home. It was the very mention of tapas that chased away any further contemplations of her recent run-ins, however, her lips twisting into a bright simper as she allowed her companion to lead her through the darkened streets of Sacrosanct. After all, with him at her side, Audette hardly fretted over the monsters that stalked the shadows. No, he made her feel safe.
It was the sound of her name upon his lips that drew Audette's attention away from the girl's internal considerations. He's inquiry prompted a feminine giggle upon her lips as her head shook, her blonde locks swaying with the gesture. "Non, not yet. I fear it takes a long time but tonight helped." She responded, her head bobbing firmly. After all, to earn her place as a soloist was well on the track to her beloved goal as prima. Her smile lingered upon her lips as she listened astutely to Adrien speak of what he had witnessed tonight. The Company had been working for months to perfect that routine, each movement made with a poised grace brought on by strict repetition. It was almost...rewarding, in a way, to hear how someone outside of her fiercely competitive community had witnessed their theatrics. "Ahh, it is the beauty of ballet, oui?" She responded with an almost knowing gleam to her clove colored irises. How Audette had once stared in childlike awe of her the French ballerinas - their elegance and composure had been astounding enough to provoke a lifetime of devotion to the art.
Audette, admittedly, enjoyed the idle chitchat as they sluggishly made their way down the streets of Sacrosanct. Her body was tired from the constant performance of late, prompting the girl to be a bit more sluggish then she might normally have been. Nevertheless, it hardly took long before the duo made their way to the restaurant, it's outer facade hardly much to look at and yet, as soon as Adrien opened the door, she was welcomed with warm, bright lights and delectable scents that so embraced her. That grin once again lit up her features as she glanced over her shoulder at the man. How busy it seemed! The tables nearly entirely full with brightly colored plates and small portions that so vastly intrigued the woman. That very sound of laughter somewhere within only served to warm her soul. This, she was sure, was definitely better then a French Chardonnay. She was keenly aware of Adrien's proximity as the man leaned in to ensure his voice was heard over the buzz of life that surrounded them. "It looks...délicieuse!!" Audette responded, her gaze sweeping curiously over the tables closest towards them.
They hardly had to wait long, fortunately, before the pair were guided by a preppy waitress towards their own designated table. Audette gingerly placed her dance bag upon the floor, a soft breath of contentment upon her lips as she was finally allowed to sit. How...utterly glorious it was. Nevertheless, she listened with rapt attentiveness as her waitress explained the very concept of Tapas, only to provide them both a menu and leave the couple to their devices. She glanced briefly over the menu, her attention hardly staying long before the weight of those shadowy purple irises drew her gaze upwards and towards Adrien. She leaned in towards the man ever so slightly as she listened astutely to his instructions. His inquiry near immediately prompted a flush to her lips, her irises dancing even in spite of the fluorescent lights overhead. "Very." She retorted, ready to embrace the entire experience he had to offer her. "Adrien, you must pick the best dishes for me to try, oui? Choose well, Monsieur Hunter." She commented so eagerly providing him with her own challenge in return and yet, the girl was inquisitive of what he might choose, much less the 'adventure' of sorts he would take her on.
