This was definitely not the same side of town Gideon was used to in the slightest. Perhaps he grew used to the shady, and illicit aura that the Western side of Sacrosanct was known for; After all, it wasn't someone just anyone would want to wander to. Neither did this part of the town, the North sector. Judging just from the glance of the area, the iris of his brown eyes seemed to swirl like a cup of coffee gently being stirred. His black lochs smoothed back perfectly, and not even swaying with the gentle breeze. The broken clouds gave way to some sunlight that kissed his already perfectly tanned Mediterranean skin, and a welcome warmth to the slight chill in the air. He paused for a moment on the sidewalk he was strolling down, with no destination in mind at all, to clean his glasses with a cloth he kept in his jacket pocket. He would grumble in Greek to himself, as a smudge of an annoying caliber would not remove itself from the lens.
"The one time I didn't have a glass cleaner wipe, today would be the day.."
Gideon was the kind of person that liked to be prepared for any sort of endeavor, no matter how big or small it was, preparedness now would save a ton of grief later. Except the grief was in the form of an annoying smudge on his glasses. Eventually after a few minutes, the smudge would be gone and he'd don his glasses once more, giving his eyes much relief from having to strain so much.
"Funny how I didn't used to need these blasted things, but now I have to wear the damned things." Gideon grumbled quite loudly, as he carried on back down the sidewalk. Destination unknown still at this rate, as he was simply just checking out a side of town he never been to. Hell, one needed a change of scenery when you spent all your time lurking in the shadows of the West, simply listening and gathering. As well as aiding Serafina with any tasks she might have needed done. And, trying to not get killed one might add to this
It was Fall days like this that really made Gideon think back of home; Back to Greece and how amazing the trees and meadows looked this time of year. The coloring of the leaves, and the fallen ones painting the ground with their beautiful colors. And not to mention the sea air that had that extra crispness to it. If he was capable, he might have shed a tear or two just reminiscing about home.
Alas though, now was not the time or place for such things. What he had on his mind was who he'd come across on this side of town. And just what could he get himself into without getting into too much trouble... Only one way to find out.
