Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

dancing with this chemical attraction
It was entirely dejecting to the vampire to truly comprehend the full extent of exactly how long his lover had so been confined to those elegant marble walls and manicured shrubberies that surely made up the exterior of what he was certain was an extravagant palace. Surely, when he was younger, the then prince had been afforded some measure of freedom, especially not being the first born and thus, not particularly high within the line for the throne and crown he so now possessed. Surely then, to send a lesser figure of royalty had to have been beneficial for the respect it must have conveyed. That said, Sebastian himself was hardly aware of any of the regulations or precedents that so plagued the Italian King when it came to such notions of traveling. Now, however, here, such demands of decorum hardly so assaulted the King and Sebastian had every intent of taking advantage of his lover's freedoms with such adventures. Perhaps, before the man was so inevitably dragged by to the land that he so meticulously governed, Sebastian might so take the chance to lead his companion on an excursion that criss crossed the globe in the way that he himself so often did.
His own head nodded ever so slightly at Dorian's agreement that he was entirely willing to so venture to those spanish countries that Sebastian so throughly enjoyed for their eccentric ways. The music, the culture, the life; that vibrancy so filled every aspect of that all too rich country and Sebastian so basked in the simple way that it so affected his soul. Still, a small chuckle so softly left the vampire's lips,
Such notions of Spain, however, only once again brought Sebastian to that dance he so thoroughly enjoyed. Those unexpected jumps, those sensual dips, and those controlled lifts so dominated the sharp, and yet contrastingly fluid movements of the dance he so reveled in. It was those same aspects that too so fascinated his Fae companion and Sebastian was all too willing to introduce the man to that delectable Tango. Still, he couldn't help the hint of amusement upon his features at the idea he might so drop Dorian. After all, he had retrieved his own shirt from the tip top of Dorian's wardrobe - not that he had let the King know or indeed see such nimble movements. This, however, was entirely within the vampire's realm of capabilities, even with a novice dancer. And so, with his own sort of confidence, the vampire offered little more than a knowing smile to his companion, refocusing Dorian's attention upon the steps he so patiently strove to teach him. Despite that noteable concentration his lover so afforded those steps that Sebastian himself loved, the vampire had to admit that the man was certainly picking them up easier than many he had seen attempt, regardless of the effort it might take to so master this particular dance.
His own head tilted to the side ever so slightly as his companion so spoke of those traits that so keenly defined him, attributes that Sebastian himself was hardly unpertubed to learn.
"Cust was our original surname. My family did not have a long line of peerage. My great grandfather was the first Baron Brownlow. He chose the surname of his mother's ancestors for our title. My father then changed our last name to Ellington by Royal Decree to comply with my grandmother's will so that we might inherit her estates in Bridgewater and Cheshire. I still hold our property there." And he damn well should for all the effort his father endured to obtain them in the first place, at least, such was what he was sure the man would say if he was still alive to this day. It had been one of the few things he had made sure Sebastian promised him upon his deathbed. Still, the vampire hardly lingered long on such thoughts of a past long gone, instead offering to show so his lover what those very steps might lead to when they had gained some level of proficiency.
The touch of Dorian's hand within his so caused the slightest shift in the vampire, his crystalline gaze regaining that look of want as he so drew Dorian close enough that there were but inches between their figures. His own hand settled firmly, protectively even upon Dorian's waist as he so led the fae King through those very same movements he had so tasked the man to learn. The steps were certainly faster than before, Sebastian leading them around that grassy space before, spinning Dorian out in the same fashion he might have before only for his hand to settle on the small of the fae King's back. With an ease that so corresponded with this very dance, Sebastian used his own foot to quite literally kick Dorian's out from beneath him, so guiding the fae King with a smooth, controlled, confidence as he led him down towards the ground so his back was so arched and his bare feet were no longer touching the grass beneath him. The vampire's gaze remained so steadfastly upon the King's own for but that bring moment in which he held him there before, in just as graceful of a fashion, he pulled his lover back up and with a closer twirl, back to that form in which they had started with as he guided him back into those foundational steps with only ever so slightly increased rapidity for the lift that surely followed.
The vampire's hand once again he spun his companion out in a similar fashion than before and yet, this time, he released Dorian's hip only to place his hand upon the man's lower back closer towards him, lifting him off the ground in the fashion Dorian had so desired to see. He toss the fae King over his shoulder, his hand releasing only to hook around the fae King's leg and pull the man's body around to flip in mid air as he quite literally spun the man around his own shoulders in a fashion that was surely dazzling to watch. His hand remained firm on Dorian's thigh as the man's body was positioned in front of him, Dorian's back flushed against Sebastian's chest. The vampire's hand so found Dorian's waist once again as he gingerly released his companion to the ground. His dance ended in those moments there after, his voice but a soft whisper within the fae's ear as his arms so encircle his newfound boyfriend. "Well, your majesty, how was your first taste of the tango?"
