Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya wouldn't admit it but it did sting a bit when Edie stated she knew Frost better than anyone. Not because Edie knew him best, that was a Beta's job to know their Alpha, but for the simple fact that Nadya wished she knew Frost better. He was a mystery to her still. Perhaps if it had been another time, if Nadya hadn't just had her interaction with Frost, she would have responded in kind to Edie. The other Beta's tone wavered on insulting as if trying to find something to rile her. Instead, Nadya glanced away with a roll of her eyes, a restraint that was relatively unheard of with her. Sometimes being a Beta was harder than being an Alpha. It was rare for an Alpha to be questioned, their word was absolute, but a Beta had to work to stay above. It had led to many tussles between herself and Tobi. At least it seemed that Edie took to the advice and stiffened herself up, whether from being rallied or to spite Nadya was hard to tell.

"This rivalry didn't start with me. It started because Frost wanted someone who was important to those in my pack. It was a grey area, the girl was a rogue." Nadya shook her head and pinched the bridge of her nose; a habit she had developed to stave off the fire in her veins to keep her shifts at bay. Perhaps the rivalry had continued because of Frost's interest in her and his continued persistent presence...but it hadn't started because of her. In all logic it wasn't a surprise that Edie would side with Frost on who Nadya should choose. Nadya listened with pursed lips as the woman went on. Who could she live without? "Sounds like a messed up situation." Honestly, who arranged a marriage anymore and for a child nonetheless? "I would never do that to Izzy or Micah." Nadya couldn't imagine ever looking at either of her children and promising them off to someone.

"How do I know Frost will leave my brother and the others alone though if I join him?" Nadya knew she had some sway over Frost in the sense of keeping those who are important to her from the brunt of his games but there was still question in her mind of if she could keep him from her pack. "My brother and I, we've lost everything. We saw our pack and parents murdered and were separated from each other when we were little. I only just found him barely two years ago and I'm being told to choose between leaving the only family I have left and someone who I know so little about but that...." But that when he kisses her it just feels right and everything in the world ceases to matter. The light breeze picking up caused goosebumps to rise along Nadya's skin. "Our hour is coming to an end hmm?" She shifted back slightly back towards the way they had come. "I just need time to make sure things are done right. My brother deserves that much and so do my children." It was relatively vague on whether Nadya was saying she was choosing to join Frost or not though it could be assumed in the wording that she was indeed going to choose Frost. It was a nice thought though, living with Frost in a pack home, seeing her children running around a yard surrounded by the support of their pack.
