Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
"Cake to be exact," she grins broadly at him. For as long as the woman could remember she had always been enticed by sweets, yet if Will wanted to woo her by food, cake was the way to go. Watching William smirk at her causes all amusement to vanish into thin air, her lips parting slightly as he leans in to kiss her. Leaning towards him she enjoys the warmth that spreads about her body, his warm hand cupping her cheek gently. She's but a moment away to sweep the dishes to the ground and crawl over the table towards him. And when he licks her lower lip she sucks in a breath, her eyes smoldering as he pulls away.
"On the contrary, you taste marvelous," she croons at him, a heated expression dancing across her face. Feeling the mood dissipate slightly she can't help but note his demeanor as it changes rather sullenly. The assassin wasn't sure what had brought such a thing on and she certainly didn't want to dull their evening any farther. She was grateful to see that her teasing comments brought out that brighter and confident self of his. Flashing a toothy grin at his response her smile only widens as she replies, "My, if I were a ghost I do believe it would have its benefits. The ability to become invisible would come in rather handy especially in my line of work."
Watching his face turn serious, she traces him with her eyes again, inspecting the handsome man. She's gleefully happy to see him blushing and stumbling over his words, though she's uncertain on how to handle the compliments, she finds herself beyond satisfied that she can also have the same effect on him as he did on her. When he looks away she gives his hand a small squeeze of reassurance to continue. "Demure was never my forte, as for sexy I suppose that's something I've grown in to," she arches a brow at him, offering a teasing smile.
"Ah, but William I have yet to truly entice you. This is but the tip of the ice berg," she laughs finally feeling the haze of the alcohol in her system. Vhalla would not normally be so bold with the man but the wine was giving her liquid courage and she can't help but continue to flirt with him shamelessly. The assassin can feel him watching her carefully as she plucks one of the clams from the bowl and sucks it down. Clearly the Hunter had never seen any of the sorts before and she was going to enjoy helping him explore the world of modern food. Satisfied with his reaction she lets her slender fingers trail across his lower lip before returning to her seat.
Discarding the clam shell, she slips her finger into her mouth to lick the last traces of the juice from her hand. "I forgot to mention earlier; I do love British accents," she winks at him helping herself to the clams again. It isn't long before she's digging into the rest of the food, humming in delight as she takes a bite of each dish. "Gods, I love this woman. She knows how to cook," Vhalla mumbles between bites of food to no one in particular. Polishing off her glass of wine she settles back into the chair as he begins to pry her for more information.
Pondering his question for a moment she can feel the flush of the alcohol creeping up her neck and coloring her cheeks. She would have to slow down on the drinks for a while, she didn't want to become inebriated in front of William. Not missing the pet name, he continued to use on her she can't help but toss him a playful glare. "Oh but I do love my daggers, they have never let me down before," she smiles at him regarding him for a long moment. "I don't have many hobbies. Considering my... unique lifestyle I'm not allowe- able to have hobbies," she quickly corrects herself mid sentenced, "I do, however, enjoy a good book. That would fall in the category as a hobby, wouldn't it?" she asks earnestly.
The assassin had never really considered what she did in her free time or how that would relate to a normal life. Shrugging the thought away she leans forward, placing her elbows on the table and holding her chin in her hand. "And what do you do to occupy your time?" she returns the question with another playful grin, "I hope you don't always kiss strange women in alleyways, especially when someone is threatening to cut off your manhood," she laughs nearly forgetting that she had actually threatened the Hunter with her dagger.
