Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian AragonaHis Majesty

How odd it was to so have a woman make herself at home upon his bed! Such actions were wholly reserved for those whom he had coaxed between his sheets, those whom he had every desire of satisfying in some fashion- not those whom had so evidently desired to place themselves within such a position and entirely without his permission. Yet, that woman were a decidedly unique species in this modern world has become truly apparent to him, the man hardly bothering to so continue to stress himself over the delicate interplay of nuances so few seemed to even be aware existed any longer. His features merely frowning at the man in which she seemed to only make herself more comfortable. She would fall asleep, if she continued to behave in such a fashion and he would be left with another dilemma entirely. That of removing a woman from his bed. A task not normally required until after he had so been entertained by them. Vhalla however, was hardly of such a demeanour to be of any allure. Her question merely sees the shake of his head, features inquisitive for but a moment upon the notion of those words.

"I have never seen them, no. As for them returning to this city I have heard off it only from Sam whom was alerted to it by the fellow I mentioned before- Frost. Though I have only met him once and I know nothing of him, nor do I care too."

Samantha was his only true concern in this. Dorian hardly in possession of a desire to chase white-haired being about the city. Frost and his companion- that terrible English girl- he is sure, were better off avoided entirely. Dorian mistrustful in every sense of the man and yet what role, if any, he played in this remained to be seen. The Monarch far from inclined to make hasty judgements and yet why only that man had seen these illusive Fae seemed...unusual, if nothing else. For now however he allows the matter to pass- her unusual sense of humour once more lost upon him. The girl so truly abrasive in every sense, as if she sought to defend herself from the world even when it was hardly attacking her in any sense. His mention of rash judgement seeming to amuse her in those few moments in which she summoned the energy to sit upright once more, exhaustion plaguing at every line of her form though he made no comment upon it for now.

It is his attempt to so afford her assistance with the use of her powers that seems to invigorate the woman once more. Vhalla sitting upright as if struck before a decidedly humourless, cold laugh seems to fall from her lips. Had this woman never known joy? Had she been born so utterly bitter? To think, it was he whom had seen the middle ages. The disbelief within her tone sees his features frown once more, the King's arms folding across his chest in a mild irritation at her laughter though he remains civil all the same- despite the effort it took. He had not been laughed at in centuries and here this woman dared to do just that. Her words seeing his gaze rest upon her all the same, as if in consideration of that which he was offered now- Dorian inclined to a moment of thought before allowing those slate-hued eyes to find her own.

"Why, might I ask, do you find it amusing in any sense that I might offer you assistance? Either you believe me to be entirely devoid of compassion for the misfortune of others, even witches, foul breed that you are, or you have no true understanding of what I am offering you."

He pauses, if only briefly, to allow the woman to consider the words before continuing.

"The very fact you incinerated someone is the very reason why you need assistance. You will only burn this world to the ground, as you put it, if you refuse to learn. Your argument is invalid. You will not incinerate me I assure you, though the choice is your own. I will help you if you require it, but if you are determined to remain obstinate then nothing will change."

His voice is easy, matter-of-fact, affording little room for any true argument as his own shoulders lift in a shrug of sorts, a modern gesture he was beginning to appreciate as his gaze remained upon her own- the man shifting after a moment.

"Do you intend to get out of my bed? Have you no bed of your own for tonight? This is, I am sure, why women should get married as they did in my day, it prevents them wandering about into the wrong beds."
