Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

you were the answer to my dreams

It was fruitless to even so much as attempt at this farce any longer, of that the vampire was entirely assured. He could smell the fear that so attempted to roll off the young woman despite the work of his own affinity. He could feel her hurt, bitterness and anger and in turn it only frustrated him all the further. He had tried to save her life, to ensure that she had left the borders of those forests relatively intact. How little she knew of what he had suffered to so see her in the state she was now - the week he'd spent with his maker, the lives he had taken to spare hers and all of it was for naught. She seemed so eager to rid herself of him and even Sebastian could not help the fear that the ever strong relationship between Dorian and the fairy girl would cause his own love to suffer and dwindle into oblivion. Still - the Englishman remained in his seat for the time being, allowing the woman to mutter her pitifully voiced words for Dorian's earns alone. His own bright blue eyes briefly met hers as that simple syllable left her lips and yet, whatever words she had for him fell short before she turned on her heels to simply leave.

A small frown marred the vampire's lips and in her absence and yet the vampire slowly rose all the same. His crystalline gaze glanced down at his lover, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly. A soft sigh left his lips as he shook his head ever so slightly, his eyes shifting towards the staircase the woman had disappeared in altogether. "You know she's scared of me." He uttered softly, his voice entirely without contempt. It was a statement, one marred with a hint of sadness. Although his culture's embedded mannerisms required him to simply ignore the ill timed conflict, it was also required of him to so defend his own reputation, on some level - still, what was there to say that he had not already said? "I hardly defiled her to the extent she so seems to behave. I know it may seem...difficult to believe, but I did my best to save her life, Dorian." His gaze shifted back towards his lover, his gaze entirely set with a measure of pride despite the way in which Samantha seemed to regard him with some level of abhorrence. He stepped forward towards his lover, letting his lips gingerly brush against the Italian King's forehead before the Englishman stepped away. His defense had been spoken and it was now up to Dorian to believe that which he did. The rest was left up to fate. Still, there was no denying, as Sebastian stepped out that door, that his blue eyes would remain upon that still bright red thread that bound him to the King in the days to come.
