Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

There was perhaps, a certain degree of nervousness within the Fae King. It was a sort of worrying feeling that he himself was simply unused to feeling if only because he had spent several centuries so being made to act, in the least, as if nothing ever bothered him, nor worried him, nor gave him cause for concern and yet here and now atop those plush sheets and within that dark, yet rapidly lightening room he felt- anxious. This very gift he had bestowed upon his lover had so required the man to, quite literally, give a part of himself to his consort. That part nothing short of a portion of his own life. Were he a mortal being he was assured, in that moment, he would so have shortened his own lifespan by every minute he had given Sebastian in turn, his own immortal status so assuring he would, in his own way, recharge in time and yet still he held some concern within himself for how such a gift might be received. There was that chance Sebastian may simply refuse to believe the possibility that his affinity was as capable as he claimed it be. More so, there existed the chance too, that Sebastian may not desire to experience that life if only for it to be taken away again as it surely would. Dorian utterly incapable of sustaining it upon a vampire with any true permanency. If was the most meaningful gift he had ever given another in any sense. This, somehow, far grander than any gold or silver or title or country he had ever bestowed upon another and as such there existed within the Monarch a terribly great desire to have Sebastian like it. If nothing else. How terrible it would be to cause his lover any sort of distress! Yet how aware he was that such a possibility might exist all the same.

He is careful with his words, so attempting to explain to Sebastian just how such an affinity had come about and too his assurance that it would work even despite the enormity of just that. Dorian entwining his fingers with his lovers own to lift them upward so show Sebastian what his words may have failed to convince the vampire off, allowing the man to see that very life that flooded his system as strongly as if he had never been dead- let alone for two hundred years. Such an effort was more taxing upon himself then he had truly anticipated and yet for now the Fae worked so diligently to prevent any hint of that exhaustion or weakness showing upon his features. Here and now it was Sebastian alone whom so held his focus. This by far the most daring of any of his ideas. His consort had become almost impossibly still in that moment. His features so truly blank tht Dorian felt himself afflicted with little more than fear in that moment that he had somehow put the man into some state of shock! It is only that movement of Sebastian's eyebrows that assure him his companion is at least still aware of his voice, Dorian taking that moment to explain in full the details of his idea and too the gift he was giving him, his voice soft and truly gentle in those moments, each word carefully offered so as to better help the vampire process just what Dorian was so gifting him with. His lovers gaze rested upon him for some moments still before those shockingly blue eyes moved to glance towards the window and the rapidly coming dawn. A simper of sorts traces Dorian's own lips at last as Sebastian moved to stand and- slowly- make his way towards that window. His own form remained, for now, upon that bed. Dorian so truly desiring to join his lover and yet for a few moments longer he simply allowed the vampire those uninterrupted moments to come to terms with just what had been presented to him. There was, after all, something truly delicate about just this moment, one Dorian was loath to disturb, a truly curious emotion stirring somewhere within himself and yet one he hardly chose to allow to encompass him just yet.

The silver of his gaze lifts readily to his companions own as the man turns to face him once more in the moments that followed his assurance that some level of bravery was surely required for Sebastian to so fully embrace this. His lover so inquiring as to whether or not he had ever done this before. Ah, but he should surely have anticipated just this question! Dorian so seeming to consider his words for a moment once more before offering his response with nothing less than the honesty he was assured his very soulmate deserved of him- his head shaking softly.

"I have brought that which has died back to life before, yes, it was how I came to discover the true extent of my affinity. You are the first vampire however, I have ever afforded life to."

After all, to so test his gift out upon a vampire would have required Dorian to allow another vampire to feed from him- the very idea of any save for Sebastian doing such a thing was almost abhorrent to him. He could hardly claim to know those intricate nuances of vampiric culture and yet, surely, permitting another to feed from him when he was committed to Sebastian alone was almost akin to- cheating. The man dismissing thoughts as distasteful as that. It was his turn, then, to rise from that bed, bare feet padding softly across the floor as he came to stand beside his lover now- his own gaze turned towards that lightly frosted window and coming dawn.

"Yes Bastian, I am sure I can do it. I can see that life around you, when the time comes that we must return indoors I will inform you of it well before any harm can come to you."

He nodded softly now, if only to further assure the man of his faith within his own skills before falling silent once more, allowing Sebastian to so wordlessly return his gaze to that window- whatever thoughts that so turned through the vampires head his alone to consider before that soft query saw his own eyes lift. Was it very cold? That simper so readily returns to his features now, Dorian nodding as one hand lifted in an almost curious fashion to allow his fingers to trace upon Sebastian's bare shoulder, gracing those fine contours- so admiring that colour afforded to him and too the warmth that now radiated from his form.

"It is."

He responds softly, his own gaze lingering on his lover before the vampire asked whether they might visit this 'orangery '. The smallest of frowns so knots the Fae Kings brow in that moment, Dorian holding little idea of what on earth this orangery was to begin with and yet had his lover decided in that moment he wished to merely stand outside for the entirety of that time he had been gifted Dorian was assured he would hardly have denied him. His own head nodding now.

"If that is what you want then that is where we will go, you shall have to show me the way though. Although, perhaps first-."

His hand reaches then to take the other man's own, seeking to draw his attention away from that window if for only a moment, tugging softly upon it to lead Sebastian but a few strides to the side and in view of that large, ornate mirror, gesturing towards it now. Dorian assured his lover too, need appreciate that which he himself had so shamelessly been given to admire for the past few minutes before he donned those winter coats and pants and boots that would hide so much from view. He pauses now for a few moments, allowing Sebastian to observe is own reflection from that warm, flushed skin so alive with colour to the utterly glorious blue of his gaze that Dorian was assured was far brighter and more ardent then he had ever seen it. Ah, but to think, such a colour was that which he had been born with! A simper of pleasure upon his lips now as he spoke and yet still those words were barely above a whisper.

"Tu es si belle, mon amour." (You look beautiful, love.)

The Monarch so determined in that moment that he himself would not forget just how Sebastian looked here and now. A part of the man so inclined, for the first time, to feel a sense of disdain towards the creature whom had stolen that life from his companion to begin with, robbing him of just this. Dorian pushing away such thoughts now as those first true rays of sun began to press above the surface of the horizon and illuminate the room. His gaze lifts once more to his lover before the Fae slowly steps back towards that window, leaning against but one side of it to eye that sunrise as those first rays of light danced upon his own bare skin, a smile so readily adorning his features before he turned to face Sebastian once more- one hand held out now and towards the vampire. It was not lost upon him, the enormity of this moment nor the fear that might surely grip his lover still. Dorian hardly concerned that the man might falter still and yet he was determined to try all the same, to see if he might coax Sebastian forward.

"Do you wish to see the sunrise, Bastian?"
