Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Nadya knew it was perhaps foolish of her to trespass alone onto the Chimera pack home territory but she had told Tobias she would deal with Frost. If anything should happen to her then she would pass knowing the twins were safe with her adoptive family and that she went fighting for her brother. Yes, she knew there was the chance of Frost not taking kindly and so lashing his own abilities at her which he had thus far not done but there was also that slim hope that he understood why she was here and so accepted his fate. That anger was the only thing that kept her limbs moving and made all other thoughts irrelevant. The ebony jaguar steadfast in her spot upon the threshold of the pack's home property in wait for Frost to respond to her call.
There was a moment that the young woman didn't think Frost was going to answer her and remain barricaded inside his fortress. The mere possibility that he could be ignoring her sent ripples of irritation through her already tense frame. It was that blonde man's appearance in the doorway that cast out that path of thought. However, his appearance wasn't exactly met with jubilation either. Her yellow cat's eyes hardened, her coat bristling, and an involuntary rumble of a growl began in her throat. He knew why she was here, his posture was sign enough as there was no way an Alpha such as him would be casting his gaze away from another unless they were trying to placate them. The brush of his voice in her mind was enough to bring about another round of rumbling growls. Was he seriously questioning her ability to listen? As if there could ever be a good reason for what he did.
"What could you possibly say to defend yourself?" And then there is was. He didn't mean to kill her brother. Was that supposed to be a valid excuse? The panther's claws unsheathed to scrape at the stone pathway beneath her paws. It wasn't just her brother's death that was causing this scene, even if it was the tipping point, but it was the addition of further evidence that Sam herself had brought forth against Frost. It made it no better that Sam had gone into detail about the illusions Frost had subjected her too and then the way in which her brother had burned up to simply ash. "You terrorized my best friend and then fought with my brother. You fought with him after I agreed to go with you! How could you do that?! I trusted you, I defended you against them and then you...you....rip out my heart." That pain of the sudden break from her brother was no less traumatizing to think about and still felt lost without him.
Nadya was finding it increasingly difficult to keep calm, every fiber of her being ringing to lash out and attack Frost. With her tail lashing behind her she took to taking a few steps back and forth, her tense lean muscles rippling beneath her coat as she paced and shook her head. This was not how it was supposed to go. She had planned to just come here and deal with Frost, not let him rope her into a debate where he had obviously learned how to perfect his words to so fabricate the stories in his favor. "You lied to me." That time there was a hint of sorrow to her tone before the panther fell still and those eyes hardened once more on Frost. Her ability lashed out in rapid succession then, exploding a hole at the dirt to Frost's right and then skinning the trunk of a tree to his left. "Lower your shield,RÃkarður." Frost did have that pesky mental shield of his that kept a few of her abilities at bay. Only revenge laced her thoughts, wanting Frost to feel that same pain she experienced losing her brother.
