Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Amelia could only hope that Troy wouldn't leave her. He seemed just as shocked about the pregnancy as she was, but at least he hadn't run out the door yet. He seemed excited about it. Despite the way it had snuck up on them both, Amelia was so sure it would turn into something lovely for them both. This baby was something they had created in love. It would bind them together for eternity. This baby was a miracle. While she wasn't sure how this baby even existed, she wasn't complaining. Amelia had wanted a baby for so long. Even if this would be the only child she ever had, she would cherish it forever.

Amelia hadn't heard Troy come into the room. So naturally, when his hands moved along her shoulders, it made her jump. While she normally had her senses on overdrive, she was too busy thinking about this child and what it would mean for them both. Not to mention, she was thinking about all the things that she needed to do to prepare for this baby. From the sound of it, she didn't have long to prepare.

As Troy massaged along her muscles, she closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of his hands on hers. It was soothing. She yelped playfully as he picked her up, placing her in the tub and beginning to lather up the loofa. She looked over her shoulder at him. "Come on in...the water is warm..." She smiled back at him, pulling herself forward so he could ease himself into the bath behind her.

And once he was finally in with her, she leaned back against him, relaxing in the feeling of being wrapped in his arms. She sighed softly in contentment as she allowed the silence to take over the room. It was a comfortable silence, one that wasn't awkward in the least bit. "There's so much we need to do to prepare..." Truthfully, Amelia was a little overwhelmed. She only had a few weeks to prepare for an entire new life to enter their little family. How fast would the child grow? Would it age rapidly? Stay an infant? Grow as a human would? So many questions that simply did not have answers.
