Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The woman's assurance that money was equally as 'stupid' as everything else saw he equine roll his eyes behind her back, the man assured he was talking to a veritable teenager and yet he found her perhaps equally amusing all the same. Her very decision to view the world as 'stupid' was perhaps not all that far from the truth even if the majority of people so pretended otherwise. How long would it be, truly, before even she began to give into those pressures of society that so governed what she should wear or how she should speak and what exactly to say and when. For now she was a veritable outsider looking in, the woman so remarkably free of those shackles of societal norms that she was both amusing and refreshing to him all at once. Frost inclined to wonder just how long she would remain that way and so convinced of the stupidity of everyone around her. He rather enjoyed that quick wit. Even so the man set about grabbing those clothes, Malia doing very little to help as far as he was concerned and yet given her apparent taste in clothing he was almost relieved. Had she been allowed to have her own way she would have been dressed head to toe in leather and so attracting far more masculine attention then he believed she desired. Frost hardly willing to have the house besieged by other male Were's. The idea of them upon his territory hardly filling them man with delight.

Those clothes were gathered together soon enough, the equine leading the way towards that checkout then, Frost making no effort to attempt to have Malia remove her new jacket lest the woman cause a scene- merely handing that tag to the attendant along with his credit card. The store woman moved quickly enough to scan and bag those items then, Frost taking the bags as she did and handing them to Malia now, the woman holding her hands up and over her ears. What on earth she was doing he hardly knew, his gaze flicking from his companion to that scanning machine and back again. He had hardly considered her perhaps overly-sensitive hearing and yet perhaps he should have, his own had been much the same in those first few months within a more modern world then he was used too, one far removed from the solitude of the mountains and snow in which he had grown up. He remained distinctly calm all the same, affording her behaviour little response until she near glared at the shopkeeper, declaring that machine to loud and to be turned down. Frost merely taking her arm smoothly in his own and guiding her efficiently away with her bags before she could cause further disturbance with her antics. How on earth he continued to find these socially inept pack mates he hardly knew and yet, he supposed, it was for her vert instincts as a Were he so valued her, not her abilities to shop. Nadya surely had that area covered all on her own.

"She cannot turn the volume down. It is that loud because it simply is. You will learn to turn out those sounds in time. Don't stress over them now."

His attention instead returned to what he deemed far more pressing needs, the girl assuring him she disliked shoes for the cramping sensation they afforded her feet. Frost inclined to believe whatever shoe she had been given were too small to begin with and yet her query on those leather shoes all but prompted another sigh from his lips. Her fascination with leather, it seemed, would be no passing phase. That demand for food perhaps one he could more easily meet. Shoes a battle for another time or better yet, perhaps he might simply buy them without her and merely present them to her later. The man hardly willing to allow a member off his pack to go barefoot. Even if she wanted too.

"Yes, leather shoes do exist- but we will attend to other needs first. Come."

His words were simple, easy, affording her little room to argue as his hands returned to his pockets and he simply strode forward to lead the way. It was a simple matter of heading to the lower levels then, Frost pausing at those escalators, allowing Malia to watch several people step on and off those moving stairs to assure her of their safety before moving to step easily onto it himself. Her desire to stay near him surely enough to prompt her to keep up regardless of any fear she may have over those falling stairs before the men stepped easily off at the bottom and within that food court. He led the woman readily to the nearest vacant table, gesturing for her to sit before uttering;

"Stay here."

Trying to have her decide what to eat let alone leaving her to order was a task he was hardly ready for today. Frost simply making his way easily over to the most acceptable choice he could find for her. The man returning a few minutes later with that fried chicken. Either the woman would hate it entirely or, as most humans and animals tended to do, she would come to utterly adore it. A fascination Frost himself had never truly understood and yet the man's own vegetarian diet rarely inclined him to those meat-based foods all the same. That chicken was pressed towards the woman now, Frost placing his own salad before himself before handing her that fork lest she get some idea of grabbing it with her teeth.

"It's fried chicken, just try it and yes, before you ask I am a vegetarian, that means I do not eat meat. That is why I do not have chicken."
