Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Sebastian Ellington
It was certainly no secret the decades that spanned between himself and every member of Dorian's family. He was near the child amongst them all and yet, it had never posed to be any true obstacle. Where as Dorian was distinctly older, the vampire was distinctly more aware of the world at large. It was a balance that had certainly worked in their favor before. That idle comment upon the part of his lover to have his age listed as that year he simply stopped aging altogether, however, prompted Sebastian's own consideration of that very age he had been upon dying - mere days before his twenty-eighth birthday. Twenty-eight, he decided, was a far nicer age to be then those early two-hundreds, vain though both of them were at the given moment. He watched as the fae King considered that very question before giving into the notion too, only to point out that simple fact that Sebastian had not yet considered. He had died at an age quite a bit older than his lover. He could hardly help that soft chuckle upon his lips at that notion.
Even so, the vampire was entirely content to return to that quiz, effortlessly selecting the question after Dorian's own middle name, even if it skipped several in that order he'd once been going in. That notion of an 'ideal' first date was one Sebastian was all too content to answer with ease. After all, the King's love of art seemed to be well known by more than simply himself and yet, the vampire was rather taken instead to linger on the idea of Dorian in a seat at the movies or amongst a crowded concert hall. That inquiry left his lips with marked curiosity, his blue eyes so lingering upon his lover as Dorian seemed to consider those two words. He was, perhaps, hardly surprised that they were foreign to the King and yet, that inquiry of that concert hall they had attended to see Chopin mere caused his head to shake ever so slightly. He hardly interrupted, however, instead simply listening as Dorian spoke of that memory of movies brought home to be watched on the sofa with stories playing upon the television screen. He supposed, truly, it was a rather peculiar dating activity and yet, it had become quite the social norm all the same.
It was only once that inquisitive glance of those silver eyes turned towards him that the vampire was inclined to offer some way of explanation.
That notion of that ideal date, however, was quickly overshadowed as the vampire returned to that quiz from the point he left off, the man attempting to go in order once again as he returned to that next question of the man's favorite song. The options hardly pleased him in the slightest, much less the answer it declared and, rather abruptly, Sebastian found himself inquiring if Dorian had ever heard of the song or band within the first place! At least, until he came to the conclusion that if this truly was his lover's favorite, then he was uncertain whether or not their continued dating was plausible when Dorian was willing to choose a popular pop band over his own beloved classical music. His blue eyes so lingered upon the silver of his lover's own as the Monarch inquired if this was truly so. Sebastian's head bobbed entirely resolutely, only to be given a near dramatic sigh in return. Though he had hardly forgotten that incident with the cricket, the vampire had yet to truly realize the extent of the fae King's despise for those insects, the notion that those often fanciful little bugs failed to appeal entirely to the King saw his own eyebrows raise ever so slightly in a small glimpse of dubious surprise.
That shift of his lover's figure against his own drew his thoughts but temporary from those bugs and, indeed, that song. His gaze refocused upon the Monarch as Dorian leaned forward to press his lips against the vampire's own. That kiss was readily returned, his lips so catching his lover's top as the fae so willingly took his bottom before the man pulled away from him. A soft groan of discontent reverberated within his throat and yet, Sebastian hardly had to wait long before his lover's lips pressed against his skin once again, working from his jawline down that sensitive skin towards his collarbone. He was altogether attentive to that press of Dorian's fingers against his skin, moving his shirt out of the way of those kisses only for that other hand to so effortly bring to life those lustful desires that always laid just beneath the surface as his fingers brushed against Sebastian's inner thigh. That feeling of his hand against his groin so produced a soft sound from the vampire's throat, the man's body entirely inclined to react almost immediately to that firm but fleeting touch. That abrupt cease to those movements entirely caught Sebastian off guard, the man near gaping at the King's audacity as Dorian leaned away from him to declare such a thing reserved for true lovers only to slide off of that couch entirely.
A soft sigh left his lips as he shifted upon that sofa, sitting up to place that magazine on the coffee table. His hand ran through his hair as his mind still struggled to comprehend exactly what had just happened. Fortunately, Dorian had hardly left him long before returning with a sweet of sorts within his hand, one that immediately drew the undead man's attention. His nose twitched as he sniffled that sweetness. He watched as Dorian plucked at cherry from the top of that cupcake as he slipped it into his mouth. How he wanted to lick that icing off of those perfect lips! He watched as Dorian shoved the tip of his finger into that icing, licking it off in one smooth motion only to comment how such treats were surely designated for lovers alone. A soft huff left his lips as his gaze turned towards that magazine he'd placed upon the coffee table, his eyes quickly scanning the article.
