Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

;; let's raise a glass to a better one

Sebastian Ellingtonfor pleasure seldom has a cure

That steam filled the bathroom, fogging the the glass of that shower as he stood beneath the waterfall of that shower. There was something undeniably glorious of that heat that penetrated his dead skin, filling him with some sense of life that Sebastian's body was entirely void off. A soft breath of contentment left his lips as that grip of death was slowly chased away. God, how he loved those moments such as this - the only thing that would have made it better was if Dorian was within that cascade of water with him. How silly it was, that two days without the man had filled him with such an intense longing for the man, to the point that Sebastian found himself wondering how he had ever bared to live without him. It would be several long hours still till the fae returned from that business meeting and yet Sebastian still found himself entirely filled with the anticipation of the man's return. He leaned his head against the wall, those blue eyes fluttering closed as he considered those months ahead of them. The vampire knew well the lingering threat of the Italian President, the Pope, and that parliament his lover so attempted to juggle and yet, there was also the upcoming Flower Show that still needed final organization and his own little business empire to see to. The simple thought of it all was almost overwhelming and so, instead, for just tonight, Sebastian had every intention to keep himself busy, at least until Dorian walked through that door.

He stepped from that shower, turning that cascade of warmth off as he reached for that fluffy towel that hung against the wall. It hardly took long for the vampire to dry off, the man wrapping that towel around his waist as he made his way out of the bathroom, stopping quite suddenly the moment he stepped into that bedroom. His eyebrows furrowed, his nose tilted upwards ever so slightly, the man simply smelling that air, as if something was there that he hadn't expected. The scent of that familiar cologne was so faint that he could almost fool himself into believing it was there. He shook his head, moving towards that large walk-in closet only to find that overnight bag already placed back where it belonged - unpacked and tucked away. That, he was sure, definitely had not been there last night. He was early, not that Sebastian had any reason to complain in the slightest. Quite on the contrary, those butterflies so eagerly fluttered to life within his chest at that simple excitement at seeing the man again. When had two days turned into an eternity?

He had every intention of stealing every moment from the King that he could, that notion of the outside world failing to capture his interest in the slightest in that singular moment. His own dress tonight lacked that usual flair, the vampire settling for a solid v-neck t-shirt and a simple pair of jeans. After all, why bother when he entirely planned on confining his lover to that home for the rest of that evening - that simple need to be close to the King was utterly eclipsing. He stepped out of the bedroom but several moments later, his nose twitching with that far more poignant scent of cologne he'd come to associate with his lover. His gaze briefly brushed over that living room and yet, his lover was strikingly absent. Even so, if there was truly any singular benefit to that crimson thread that so bound him to the King, it was that simple ability to find the man. He was wholly content to simply trail after that thread, his bare feet padding across the foyer and towards those glass doors that led out into the garden beyond. His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as he followed that trail outside and yet any concern he might have held for Dorian's absence from that home in the wake of returning was subdued by that warm breath of that air against his skin. Summer was well underway and though Sebastian abhorred those warm months for how little life he was given, the simple temperature of it was utterly glorious.

Were it not for those two days he had gone without, Sabastian might have been inclined to linger within that garden. As it was, it hardly took long to find the fae King, settled on the wooden fence that housed those horses he'd once purchased as gifts. The vampire paused several feet away from his lover, entirely content to simply watch the man, that soft simper so settled upon his features as he did so. God, how he had missed the man! Those phone conversations, while entirely appreciated and welcomed, simply hadn't been enough after the months he'd spent at his lover's side. He watched as those horses seemed to notice the pair's presence, that ebony stallion led the way to greet his owner, the vampire's own mare following in suit with the painted equine he'd once bought for that Hunter that'd long since abandoned him. Tonight, however, his thoughts hardly dwelled upon William in the slightest. Quite on the contrary, his gaze was wholly content to trail down the length of his lover's figure, eying the fabric of Dorian's new wardrobe and the fashion in which is clung to his lover's fit frame. Sebastian was entirely content to simply admire his boyfriend in those moments. How bloody lucky he was to have someone quite like him. It was far more than the vampire had ever hoped for within his life.

He watched as his lover's fingers brushed against Nikolai's forehead, those Italian lyrics caused a soft chuckle upon his lips. Here he thought he was being sly and already Dorian had anticipated his presence. Sebastian closed the distance between himself and the King, his arms easily encircling the man's waist, stepping against the man so Dorian's back was flushed against his chest. His lips gingerly pressed against his lover's cheek, the vampire near immediately aware by that sudden, unexpected presence of prickly hair. Even so, he pulled away ever so slightly, his voice equally as teasing as he replied softly. "You shouldn't have left me alone for two days. The trouble I could have gotten into." He eyed the profile of his lover for several moments before slowly reaching up to turn Dorian's head towards him ever so slightly. The stubble was altogether unexpected. In that near year, he'd never seen the Monarch so scruffy, the man often the epitome of composed. His head tilted ever so slightly to the side as he eyed the man he so adored, the vampire wholly struck by how utterly handsome the King was. There was little doubt that Dorian had attracted him before and yet, truly, he had not thought it possible to find himself drawn to Dorian more than any already was. How something so simple as this managed to lure him! "Either you were very busy or you're meeting with particularly bad..." He commented and yet, Sebastian hardly waited for a reply before his lips softly and sweetly found Dorian's own, that kiss far more loving then the passion he so often subjected his boyfriend to.
