Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
That near whine upon her usually sullen boyfriend's lips brought a sound of near musical laughter from the petite young witch. Sleeping in had never truly been Serafina's forte. In her youth sleeping was not usually a 'safe' activity and as a adult, her mentor had a habit of putting the young girl to work at the strike of eight. She was so incredibly used to such a timeline that sleeping in after nine was a veritable luxury, one it seemed she did not know how to enjoy. She had only just managed to push off those warm blankets in an effort to rise from that bed before Azrael's arm slipped around her petite form, near effortlessly grabbing the girl to pull her back against him and into that near cocoon of warm that had been created from their shared body heat. "Azrael!" She exclaimed between those girlish giggles and yet, there was hardly a touch of venom in the usually spicy woman's tone as the man beneath her rolled upon his bag, near dragging her frame along with him. "Don't think this will stop me." She challenged him quite playfully, a warm grin settled upon her fair features as she glanced up at that chuckling man. Her curvy figure wiggled ever so slightly in his grasp and yet her efforts to escape were wholly half hearted.
It was rare, moments quite like this when the stress of the world failed to taint either of their demeanors. Azrael often presented the world with such a prickly demeanor while the witchly wild cat tended to be misjudged as some sort of selfish bitch. Perhaps it was that which had so brought the unlikely pair together and yet, as those weeks turned to months and as Azrael still lingered within her home, Serafina was surprised to find that such blissfully contentment within their rather peculiar relationship. Moments like this were ones she was remiss to give up, even if she made an effort all the same to struggle from those sheets. That soft press of his lips against the skin of her neck brought a smile to her features, her head turned slightly to the side in an effort to get even a glance of the man behind her. "Oh no, don't think you can try that on me again." The young witch continued, even if she had a habit of so easily falling into the man's embrace. The sway of those physical desires had certainly prompted Azrael to receiving his way more than once. "I thought we had plans outside of the bed today." She teased him, reaching behind her to quite literally poke her Hunter in the side in an equally as playful gesture.
That mention of their plans for the day, as mysterious as they had been thus far, seemed enough to prompt her boyfriend into some sort of action, the man sitting up with a declaration as if this was some massive progress. Serafina could hardly help that roll of her eyes and yet, her mood hardly faltered in the slightest as she disentangled herself from his arms and the sheets he'd so clung to. The girl paused at the edge of the bed, stretching out her long limbs as her back arched ever so slightly. Sometimes, it was the little things that felt the best. "You know, you could just start leaving some clothes here, then you won't have to wear the same thing two days in a row." She called over her shoulder as she made her way towards the bathroom in an effort to brush her teeth and wash her face. The vixen was certainly near vain to a fault, those products she utilized to having glowing skin prompted a near daily regimen of skin care to retain that silky smooth and perfect flesh she so adored.
It was the scent of coffee that saw the girl's nose twitch as she stepped out of that bathroom, making her way through the hallway and towards the kitchen she knew Azrael would be at. "Oooo, what is that delectable smell?" She inquired as the young woman made her way towards that entirely lackadaisical man. Her hands reached out to brush against his chest, the woman's stormy gaze peeked over the rim of that cup before whispering conspiratorially, "Are you going to share?" There was nothing better then to start a decent morning with that cup of coffee, the woman often inclined to sing that popular little jingle associated with a particular brand of coffee whenever she made her own glass and yet, why bother when Azrael's was so perfectly made already? Her head bobbed lightly at that idle comment of their day, her lips lightly brushing against the rim of his mug as she looked up at him with near begging glimpse upon her feminine features. The woman was entirely capable of appearing nothing short of utterly innocent when it so benefited her.
In truth, it hardly bothered her even if they day was spent with Azrael working death had never truly bothered her much in itself, it was those ghosts that haunted her that had a way of perturbing the usually steeled woman. However, that idea that their day required casual dress that was mud free saw her eyebrow raise ever so slightly. "When are you going to take me somewhere that isn't casual so I can be breathtakingly gorgeous?" She commented, though truly this casual clothing request hardly bothered the woman. Whatever Azrael's plans for the day consisted of, Serafina was largely content to spend it with him all the same, even if it meant lounging on her sofa in an oversized t-shirt.
