Sacrosanct contains four distinct neighborhoods, each with their own specific kind of houses and residents. Explore our districts, view lists of our citizens and enjoy our block parties!
Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
He'd never believed in fairy tales or your one true love but he was a romantic at heart and he was a care giver. He wanted to provide for someone and take care of them. It was just in his nature. He'd like to say he was a good boyfriend when he got the chance. He was faithful and never even looked at another girl when he was dating someone. They got all of his attention. He never hesitated to buy something and even if he didn't have the money at the time, he would work his ass off till he could afford whatever it was because nothing was too much when it came to love. He would have given Becca the world but he was glad she'd shown him just how wrong she was for him before it was too late. Now he had a new chance to find someone to give that world to and he was sure he'd found that someone in Adelaide. They had such different backgrounds but they connected on a cellular level. She brought out so many different sides of him that he was kept on his toes. He was rarely sheepish or shy around a girl but she made him more nervous than he'd ever been. He was usually confident and suave, not this blushing fool who couldn't stop averting his gaze. She brought that out in him because everything about her was so overwhelming in all the best ways. He had no doubt that what they had was real, whatever it was. He wasn't so keen to put a name on it just yet because it was still so new and so strong. He felt it way down deep inside and he was addicted. Whenever he was around her, everything about her surrounded him. He could get lost in her scent, in her eyes, in the hopes and dreams she saw for herself and for him. He wanted to belong in her world more than anything. He knew that tonight was a brief encounter but he hoped there would be many more in their future. He couldn't wait to finish showing her his world, the new world of Sacrosanct that they found themselves in. There was so much he wanted to see and to share with her. He wondered if Adelaide saw the shooting star and what she would have wished for. Did it have anything to do with him or maybe just to see her dreams come true? He only hoped he could be a part of that. Adelaide had become very important to him. He already couldn't picture his next days in Sacrosanct without her in them. It was dangerous territory he was going into but he didn't care. He wanted to spend every second with her. He wanted to hear her voice and know that she was breathing and safe. He wanted to smell her and taste her. He wanted to touch her and never let go. She got so bold with him and brought out that sheepish nature that wasn't like him. She raised a brow as if to ask what he was thinking and his gaze only darkened. Oh yes, those were dark thoughts for the bedroom, not a hillside on the outskirts of town. She deserved better than that, if she even wanted that from him. He could only hope she wanted him as much as he wanted her. Everything she was doing was driving him insane. Even though he was a gentleman at heart, he was still a man very much attracted to the woman with him and she was pushing all the right buttons. As her hands played with the button on his jeans teasingly, he was starting to think just how tight those same jeans were becoming with the fire she was lighting in him. Finally he couldn't take it anymore so he grasped her hands and kissed the back of them, a way to soothe her and let her know it wasn't because he didn't want her hands there. In fact, it was the matter that he wanted them too much for their own good. He didn't want to push her into anything she didn't want and he knew tonight wasn't the right time. He still needed to get her back before Townsend sent a search party out. He teased her about a chastity belt and she brought a sparkle to his eyes when she said in time he might not even have to ask. He smirked. "When the time is right, I'm sure I can find a way around it." He offered a teasing grin. Then she was kissing him and his world was set on fire again. Just the light touch of her lips was enough to make him want so much more. He wanted to kiss her into the next day, and the day after. But then she was peeking at him around trees and teasing him back and he chuckled before going after her. "You keep me on my toes; that's for sure." He teased back as he reached out for her and came up short. She managed to dodge him a few more times before he finally got his arms wrapped around her waist and picked her up, spinning her around with a laugh before he set her down and let his lips brush against the side of her neck. They made their way slowly to the chainlink fence and he finally felt her arms wrap around him, her face nuzzled into his back as she laughed and he spun around to face her, gently caressing her hair with his fingers. He kissed the top of her head and smiled as she laced her fingers with his, walking hand in hand toward the bike. She turned then to thank him and say she couldn't wait to see where he took her next and he smirked. "I can't wait either." He smiled lovingly at her, squeezing her hand as he led her to the bike and handed her the helmet. Then he patted the seat behind him gently. "Your seat, mad'am. Unless you're looking to drive, of course." He threw her a mischievous smirk and waited for her response. |
