Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras purrs at her darkly only to have a rather bold smile so etch onto Lani's lips, Andras's eyes widening in delighted surprise as she responds coyly. She was feeling rather brave tonight it seemed, their day spent in the cabin having made the woman more brash, or perhaps it was her way of coping from the nervousness tonight was going to bring. Flaring his nostrils, those dark eyes lock onto her face as het takes one step forward, but before he can finish closing that distance between them, Lani abruptly changes the topic and begins talking about her mother. It takes a moment to cool that fire that so heats in his veins, but he manages all the same, allowing an easy smile to so adorn his lips then as he looks at her thoughtfully, her shyness seeming to have returned in full force. "You find me charming and handsome?" He asks, those eyes twinkling with amusement, "And what else do you find me?" He asks casually, that wicked grin etching into his lips once more. Waiting for her reply, he merely shrugs at her question, "Parents tend to have the more wild imagination if you ask me," he responds readily, though a very large portion of him wanted to ask her if she wanted it to be more, if she would be even remotely interested in becoming an item as her mother so put it.

He's distracted by his own wants and desires, the man hardly noticing that there was a bit of sadness to that laughter and instead changes the subject once more, regarding the supernatural world. Andras nods towards Lani, accepting her decision regarding the matters at hand, "Yes, well I suppose if we dropped that bomb on your parents that might think I was corrupting you or, at the very least, think I was some sort of devil," he muses thoughtfully, though an easy grin toys at the corner of his lips. "Though, Lani darling, I'm pleased to hear that I fall in the category as a favorite person of yours," he states then, hazel eyes traveling to her features, "Any other men that I need to know about that fall into that category of yours?" He asks offhandedly, his grin taking on a little more roguish feel. It hardly lasts long though as he continues own, asking the woman to not reveal who he was. He needn't ask the woman, knowing full well that she would keep the secret and yet, it was such a new feeling still to have a human know his secrets. Lani wasn't bound to him by anything, no oath nor did he feel the need to keep her locked away within Somnia, well not in a prisoner sense anyways.

Closing that distance between them, he raises that hand to brush against her cheek, the pounding of her heart loud in those sensitive ears. He rather enjoys the way her skin feels on his fingertips, hazel eyes engulfing her as her hand comes to rest on his chest, her own fingers toying with his buttons. Her response has Andras widening his eyes slightly in surprise, a devilish smile curling his lip upward as he leaves that hand on her face, cupping her cheek as he sees that boldness so enter her eyes. What he doesn't expect is the way she undoes that top button, revealing part of that tanned and toned muscle, though Andras doesn't remove his gaze from her features. Her response merely has his brows arching at her, "I can assure you, I will," he answers gruffly, his hand itching to wrap around her waist and pull her close so he could devour those delicious lips of hers. When she plays with that second button and successfully undoes that one too, it very nearly snaps that self control but Lani moves away from him then. Again, his nostrils flare as a flash of desire so dances its way through those dark eyes.

He doesn't move to re-button his shirt though, instead he leaves it be. Lani would have to suffer the consequences now as his tanned chest peeks through his partially open shirt. He can't help but allow his gaze to travel her body as she saunters away from him. He rather likes this bold Lani, how daring she had become since he first met her frightened in the forest. Andras is ready to trail after her, to move behind her and simply tug her closer to him, wrap those strong arms and her so she can't flee away from him and yet, it was like a bucket of ice water had been dumper over him as she drops that familiar name. Worry clawing at him almost instantly as he demands she stay away from him, that sternness entering his voice as his eyes flash dangerously. Reaching out, he grasps her hand and tugs her so that she's facing him with perhaps a bit of surprise so adorning her features. He eases his harsh words with a gentle smile, pleased that she readily agreed, no further comment being made. Andras would need to meet this man soon, the Fae being far too busy as of late to do anything. Releasing her hand, he sidles in next to Lani and simply nudges her out of the way as he picks up that knife and begins chopping those vegetables.

Her statement merely has Andras glancing up to look at her, affording her a half smile, "It's only backwards if you think it is," he winks at her before telling her to get them wine as he quickly makes work of those vegetables, his cuts near precise as he flies through it. When she retrieves that wine, Lani is quick to pour them two glasses, Andras finishing his task before he reaches a hand out and grasps his own, taking a drink. Setting it down, he returns to his task at hand, inquiring as to what he was making, Lani's response is quick as he turns those dark hazel eyes on her. "I don't think food is extravagant unless you are spending it with the people you care about," he says, looking away then as he quickly assembles that casserole and tossing it into the oven. "If I had to pick between eating something home cooked with you and a fine meal without you, I'd pick you every time," he offers her that smile as he moves towards Lani, plucking that wine glass from her hand, only to set it on the table before those dark eyes lock on her again, desire to coursing through him once more.

Invading her bubble, he brings that hand up to toy with her curls again as he looks down at the woman, thoughtfulness so entering his features. "If I recall correctly, you mentioned you would be willing to make me feel more than better if I asked," he purrs down at her, dropping her hair from his fingers only to trail those fingertips down her cheek, her neck before stopping, allowing his hand to cup her neck gently as his dark eyes rove her features, "I have a request," his voice drops an octave before taking one step closer to the woman, their bodies practically flushed as he pushes Lani back against that table, "Kiss me," he purrs again, though he hardly waits for a response before he lowers his lips to her, relishing in the way their skin moves against one another. Dropping his hands to her waist, he simply lifts her up and places her on that kitchen table, hardly caring about what was on it as he deepens that kiss, seeking entrance to her mouth as he strokes his tongue against her. How he loved the taste of this woman.

Andras Steinhello darling
