Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
James deftly ignores Lise's complaint as she whines about wanting to take a human home. Merely affording her a long look, he turns away from her, rising from the table only to prowl over to the woman sitting alone. He falls into conversation easily, gesturing to Lise only a moment later to have her join the two at the table, moving over to make room for the vampire. He allows the two to introduce themselves, letting Lise take the lead on this one as he sits back and watches everything unfold. Lise is quick to make the woman blush repeatedly, the shifting of their legs beneath the table not unknown by James, instead, he allows the faint smile to so adorn his lips as he watches the two women, a sense of pleasure beginning to form in the pit of his stomach as he thinks of what the rest of the night would entail. When Lise demands he gets the two women drinks, he merely turns that green gaze onto his roommate, affording her a long look of caution before he slips out of the booth and moves to the bar.
Impatiently, the man stands at the bar waiting for service, the club far too crowded to his liking though it would be easy to sneak away when it came time. When he finally retrieved those drinks, he returns to the crowd, his green eyes searching the sea before they fall on that familiar brunette head of Lise as they had found a spot at the very front row. Carefully, James weaves his way through the crowd, holding those glasses above his head at times to avoid dumping the contents out, he approaches the two women, Hannah's eyes fixated on the dancers before them. It was clear the woman had never been to a club like this, her innocent nature rather promising as Lise works her deceit easily into the woman's mind. He was almost pleased he didn't need to interact with the woman, he was merely there on the sidelines. Though, he doesn't miss the way his roommate takes it one step farther and suggest they go outside for a breather.
That was his cue as he merely smiles blandly at the woman, handing them their drinks before stepping out of the way. Watching Lise lead the woman away, he gives them a few minutes before he trails after them, green gaze locating that back door that his roommate would surely use, the two never taking their prey home in any sense. As he weaves through that crowd again, he quickly finds that door and pushes through it, only to find Lise and Hannah within that darkened alleyway, his roommate already using those more... seductive words in the woman to easily convince the woman that they merely wanted to have fun. Dropping that facade that had so coated James's features, a cruel smile so begins to tug at his lips as he prowls closer, Hannah briefly looking up to glance at James, hardly realizing what was about to happen to her.
"I think we've played long enough, wouldn't you agree, Lise?" Those British lyrics falling easily from his lips as he grasps for that fear inducing power only to hurl it at the woman, immediately halting anything Lise was doing to the woman. He hardly cares if his roommate would be upset with him, he didn't particularly care to have more than one... creature in his house at a time. Plus, Lise was always messy, he wasn't about to let her bring Hannah home. That panic soon coats the woman's features, her eyes widening and her lips parting in a soundless scream. He draws up every nightmarish thing the woman felt and used it to immobilize her, the pounding of her heart beating so hard he's almost surprised it doesn't burst from her chest. A smug look so crosses his face then as he casts his green eyes in Lise's direction. "Are you going to eat her or just feed off the fear tonight?" He asks dryly then, "If you don't pick now I'm going to finish her."
