Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Aragona

The King of Italy

It was surely alarming, in some sense, that the woman had managed to actually get inside their home without any of them being aware and- more then that- that she had managed to get into their very bedroom while they slept. Sebastian, surely, could not be faulted when that very embrace of death all but robbed him from this world and yet his security team had no excuse. Nor, truly, did Charles or Maxwell. The dog's youth perhaps affording him a degree of leeway. Still, the Monarch nodded his agreement readily as Sebastian made mention of that new security system, the pair exchanging that singular glance, Dorian oblivious to the jealousy that settled within Vhalla at the sight of them before she so brazenly suggested a security system was hardly going to stop anyone and that she was surely superior to their entire team. Any words the Monarch had been about to offer cut off by Sebastian. The vampire's own tone slightly curt in that simple assurance he hardly anticipated that system might keep people out- rather- that it would alert them when someone was in. Dorian inclined to admit he held every faith in his fiance's ability to be rid of such undesirables. He had never seen Sebastian act harshly toward any individual and yet the Fae knew well the power that vampiric species possessed if called upon.

"If you lack faith in our guards Vhalla, perhaps you could point out those weak spots to them, I am sure they would value your input."

They likely would not and yet Dorian was not above so sparing their pride to have a woman detail to them exactly how she had gotten passed them. Perhaps, next time, they would prove to be more vigilant. That conversation shifted to that puppy then as he squirmed in Vhal's arms in sheer delight at having three people within the hallway to focus his attention on. He would be entirely too big to be lifted so easily soon, at least by anyone other then Sebastian. Dorian reaching forward to rub at one ear of the delightful creature before assuring the woman he was hardly old enough to be a guard dog just yet. At least not until he had finished school! Dorian assured he need graduate before embarking upon any great new career. Vhal staring in near disbelief toward him then and yet, truly, Dorian saw nothing even remotely alarming about such a statement. Perhaps it was a little unusual to place so much importance upon a puppy and yet Sebastian and himself might very well never have a child of their own, Maxwell something of a substitute of sorts- one they were both content in. That little puppy something they had both raised together. Dorian taking a simple delight in that. Vhal's teasing readily brushed aside. Dorian, by that same token, failing to see what was at all unusual about interviewing those preschools.

"Of course we did, we couldn't simply allow him to go just anywhere. The right school is important."

Dorian stated promptly and entirely seriously as Sebastian assured the woman she could visit, if not take up the role of Aunt. Vhal seeming entirely content with that arrangement as she promised to spoil the dog thoroughly, her laughter echoing up the hallway as Maxwell licked at her chin and the Monarch offered her that curious story of just how the puppy had come to live with them at all. How or why Sebastian had procured that dog to begin with the Fae King hardly knew and yet he hardly cared to ask. After all, it surely did not matter now all the same. Dorian easily led the way down that hall then, inquiring just where the woman had been in all those months since the pair had last seen her. The woman's suggestion she had been in Europe met with a near quizzical look from the man, any further questions he might have seen fit to ask however were halted upon her declaration she would quite like a drink. Dorian so about to ask whether she preferred tea or coffee only for the woman to exchange that look with Sebastian. The vampire relenting a moment later only to take the lead then. Dorian following after his lover into that front room and toward their liquor cabinet. Sebastian producing a particular bottle and a singular glass as the Monarch allowed one eye to raise upward.

"Vhal! It is not even seven in the evening yet."

That exclamation leaving him then in those accented tones. His hand waved near dismissively a moment later all the same. Vhalla would do as she would and no one, man or woman, would tell her otherwise. If she wanted a drink so early in the evening then let her. Dorian moving to take that chair opposite Sebastian's own in front of that fireplace, leaving the last chair for the woman then as she offered that congratulations. The Monarch utterly unable to prevent that grin that found his features then. That wedding so having a habit of bringing that simper to his lips as Sebastian assured her of that date and their efforts to invite her. His own head nodded in that simply agreement to have her stay long enough to at least allow them to present her that invitation they had been unable to mail if only for a lack of address.

"Thank you and yes, we would love to have you attend. It is in Naples at our Palace. Perhaps you might find time for a holiday of sorts while you are there. Do you enjoy museums?"

He offered simply, Dorian content to refer to that Palace as theirs. After all, that is what it would surely become within those next months. The appearance of Charles at the door then readily saw the Monarch inquire about that fire and a cup of tea for Sebastian and himself. The manservant readily setting about those tasks as Dorian lent further back into the chair and Maxwell proceeded to worry at Sebastian's legs with that silent request to be lifted up and onto the vampires lap. It hardly took a moment for Charles to return with that tea, Dorian eagerly taking his cup before raising it to his lips. How pleasant it was!

"Have you returned home now for good, Vhal? Or are you planning to travel again."
