Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Even as Amelia made a comment about the baby's looks, Troy had to smirk in agreement. His eyes lit up as he surveyed the baby's features. "She is rather adorable. I think I see the resemblence." He grinned, kissing Amelia's temple adoringly. He couldn't stop staring at the baby. He was entranced already and she just came out. He knew he was already a goner. He never had a doubt that Amelia might have slept with someone else to produce this little miracle. He knew Dorian and Sebastian had some questions but he knew from the beginning that it had only been him. He was content to lie right there in bed holding his new family for as long as they would let him. But alas, Amelia was restless. She suddenly turned to get off the bed and he groaned reluctantly as her weight pulled away from his chest. Then she turned to hand him the baby and he inahled sharply in wonder even as his arms encircled her, holding her close to his chest and cradling her head like she was the most previous being on earth. Amelia made a comment about not dropping her and he smiled down at her, unable to take his gaze away. "Not a chance. I'm never letting go." He whispered as he leaned down to press a soft kiss to the baby's forehead. He did finally turn his head to watch Amelia look herself over. He smirked. "You bring a new meaning to bouncing back after baby, baby." His eyes glittered as he looked back down at her. "Hello there. I'm your daddy, Troy. Don't take this the wrong way but you are downright gorgeous, ma'am. I'm going to have to keep my gun handy when you grow up. Oh yes, I am." He leaned in to rub his nose gently against hers, glancing up to see Amelia moving around putting on new clothes. His lips quirked, seeing her put on one of his shirts and some sexy panties. "You fill those out nice." He murmured, his gaze running up and down her figure in appreciation. He watched as she came back over, turning his head to eye the pink clothes she had with a wrinkled nose. "You know, just cause she's a girl doesn't mean you have to make her wear pink stuff." He scowled at it but allowed her to take the baby to get her dressed. At her question, he looked up in surprise, at first thinking she was joking but then he saw the lost expression on her face. He tilted his head, thinking. "I would think she wants the same thing she wanted in the womb." Without saying another word, he pulled a pocket knife out of his pocket and sliced his hand, holding it out to Amelia. "Here, let's try." |
