Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I-I'M NOT WHO YOU THINK I AM.

Do you ever stop to wonder if they love you?
When you look into the mirror do you see the truth?
D-Do the voices in your head still got you confused?
Do they make you wanna say...
I-I'm not who you think I am.
Regan always admired those who could roll with the punches and take in stride whatever life threw at them. They were they kind of people that Regan gravitated to. This strange boy was no exception. When he immediately began drawing again, the ebony tigress hummed with pleasure. Her violet eyes following the elegant and skilled motions of his fingers and the pencil as it danced across the pad leaving behind beautiful markings that added up to compose a picture. It was a talent she greatly admired and envied.

His voice is hesitant when it reaches her ears and decidedly confused. This causes her lips to lift in a feline version of a grin. Though it likely looks nothing like a human smile. Her violet eyes shift over his profile and she chuffs softly in answer. She can't really say yes or no...even if she had been in her human form. Instead, she settles for subtly nodding her head, unsure if he would even notice the gesture -- such was his concentration on the lifelike obsidian tiger taking form on the paper. The fact he thought to include her likeness in his drawing, pleased Regan to no end. No one had ever thought to do something like that for her. Hell, if it wasn't for her reflection in water, she would have no idea what she looked like as a tiger.

A slight tremble to his body had Regan pressing closer. She rested her chest against his back, rubbing the side of her face along his shoulder in admiration. Yes. She liked it a great deal. Her violet eyes slipped closed as a pleasurable, yet broken purr, reverberated in her throat. Her large head nods again slightly, hoping this action will both confirm his question and set aside some of the unease that still lined his features. Regan was every inch a deadly predator -- surely he must understand that if she had wished to kill him...he would never have seen her coming. He would simply have breathing one moment and not the next.

After a long moment, Regan shifts her weight away from the boy and stands. Her large ebony form gliding across the frozen landscape with soundless ease. Her tail flicking back and forth as she waits for him to gather his things. Chuffing at him again, she nods in the direction she had come from. Her every gesture seeming to imply that he come along.
