You do that and so much more

She wouldn't be the same woman he'd fallen so madly in love with if she wasn't the fierce spirit that she was. She craved freedom just as he had all those years in his hometown. Now they fought to keep it day after day. But they fought together and it made all the difference. Images of Adelaide were wrapped tightly around every thought of his future now and he wouldn't undo that even if he could. She was his as he was hers, totally and completely. And he wouldn't have it any other way. He craved her like a druggie craves his next fix. He couldn't get enough of her. She surrounded him like the strongest elixir. He knew he would never grow tired of her. He wanted to grow old with her, be the elderly couple rocking in their rocking chairs on the front porch of the house he built for her, holding hands and reminescing about the good days. He could see it all now.
He knew that she would defend him as passionately as he would, her. No one would speak ill of Adelaide where he could hear it. Things had started at a burlesque on a cool winter night and now they had progressed into the heat of the summer sun and all he wanted to do was wrap his arms around her and never come up for air. This wasn't a phase and it wouldn't fade, not for him. He couldn't understand how some men could get a taste of a woman and then leave her, like that was enough. It would never be enough for him. He would always crave more. Last night was perfect in every way. The very walls of the pillow fort they crafted dare to try to collapse upon them in the fervor of their love making. Taylor re-erected it every time, chuckling even as he reached for her smooth porcelain flesh just one more time. And then one time more. He couldn't imagine a better way to wake up, surrounded by the smell of him and her and their naked flesh. But the day had to start sometime. And he was looking forward to what the rest of the week would bring. As his lips brushed her silky flesh, she snuggled closer to him and he chuckled, his arm tighening around her just a little, just enough to let her know he was here and she was safe. His nose automatically burrowed into her hair, loving the smell. Then her eyes fluttered open and she offered a sleepy smile, letting him know that she had slept well. She kissed him back and nuzzled under his chin, but he could feel her growing restless after a few minutes. "Someone's waking up." He murmured.
He asked if she was excited and she agreed, saying she couldn't wait to see where he took her first. He smirked. "Guess I'll have to make it good, then." As she ran her fingers through his hair, he groaned in approval and closed his eyes. "Keep that up and we'll end up back asleep." He murmured with a smile. As she got up, he groaned again, this time in disappointment. He peeked one eye open at her as she said she was going to get dressed. "But you look perfect just like that." He said with a smirk, even as he rolled to his back to better enjoy the view. He rolled his eyes with a dramatic sigh as he finally rolled to get up. "Fine,I guess I can do that." At least he got another kiss out of the deal. He rolled out of the fort finally and slipped on some boxers and khaki shorts before heading into the bedroom to throw together a bag. He grabbed his duffel bag out of the closet and started packing, though not without glancing at the door as if wondering what she was doing. He finished packing and brought his bag into the living room, tossing it on the couch. She looked scrumptious in a black tank top and jeans that hugged all her curves just right. He smirked, coming to stand behind her and wrap his arms around her waist. He angled his head down to sneak a kiss on the side of her neck. "You look amazing, as always. Everyone will envy me on the road."
As she went to sit down, he watched her pull a brush through her hair before she asked for a hair tie. "You remembered. Aren't you lucky to have a boyfriend with accessories?" He grabbed one from the bathroom and handed it to her with a smirk. Lastly, he went back to the room to change into torn faded jeans and a shirt that said "Don't hate me cause I'm pretty" before slipping into his riding boots. He put his own hair in a tie before he came back out and grabbed his bag. "You ready, beautiful? Endless roads, here, we come." He smiled and held out his hand. "Your chariot awaits."
