Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Eyes were on the clock, watching the second hands tick by. Where was Troy? She thought he was supposed to be home hours ago. It wasn't that they really had planned tonight or anything, but she had wanted to surprise him with wedding preparations. She knew that planning their wedding was not something he was looking forward to participating in, so she had to plan to force him to get involved. Although she knew he would go along with whatever she said, Amelia wanted this to be a group effort.

Across the dining room table was an assortment of small square cakes about 4 inches in diameter each. The large table was full of different cakes to sample: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, marble, yellow, raspberry cream, almond flavor, coconut, and several others. Not only that, but there were several small cups with samples of different icings for them to sample. The goal tonight was to pick a wedding cake and the appropriate icing.

Sighing, Amelia looked down at her watch. Where was he? Tenley had already been put to bed and most of the staff had retired for the night. No doubt Troy was doing something for the council, she was sure of it. When the door finally clicked open, Amelia smiled as she straightened herself in the chair. "Welcome home Troy! I'm in the dining room and need your help with something." Slowly she slid out of the chair and moved to stand alongside the table. When he rounded the corner, he would be overwhelmed with the sight that lay before him. Poor thing - he had no idea what he was about to walk into.
