Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Okay so maybe she hadn't quiiittteee officially joined the whole pack thing. After all, Olly still had to meet Frost and make sure he was okay with Frost and permissions had to be given and yet, somehow, it also seemed entirely appropriate to also make sure that Arlo was okay with them too. Though Olly was totally best friend status, Arlo was like....so so so SO much more than that so he had to have a say right? At least, it made sense to her. And so when she'd seen the flyer on the floor of her classroom, and immediately recognized the address, it seemed like the perfect sort of way to introduce her vampire to her possible future maybe pack. All in all, it had been a great idea except for one small, tiny, teensy weensy issue - SHE WAS LATE. It was best not to ask, really, how someone was late to a party. Abigail had never actually been to a house party, after all. But the flyer had said to be there at a certain time and Abigail had planned to be there at that time! Planned, of course, being the keyword. Between classes running slightly late and a professor she had needed to track down, the girl was running slightly behind schedule. Hopefully, her boyfriend wouldn't mind her absence too terribly much.

What Abigail hadn't excepted, as she rounded the corner of the street she'd been to exactly once with the house she'd also been to exactly once, was for all the SUPER DUPER LOUD MUSIC. Surely this had to be like....illegal or something, right? Oh my God, the pack must be like...the WORST neighbors. Oh God, what if they hated her too for even going into that loud music, rambunctious, super lit up house?! Maybe this was just....one of those American things? It seemed like that...right? Hesitantly, Abigail made her way up the walkway and into the home, her hazel eyes peering curiously at each individual she passed with some vague hope of recognizing someone. Like...really....ANYONE. Really, the chaos within the home was almost overwhelming to the young panda - the girl was entirely used to having SPACE. And forests. And small towns. And definitely more space. Lots of that. God, she wished she had told Arlo to meet her outside. A small squeak left her lips as Abigail flattened herself against the wall, squeezing past a small crowd that had congregated within the hallway with clearly no intention of moving any time soon.

She had almost given up on this whole party affair when a familiar mop of brunette hair caught her eye. THERE HE WAS! ARLO! A small sound of utter delight left the girl's lips as she pushed her way through that crowd as best as she utterly politely could. Admittedly, Abigail paid little attention to the two girls with her boyfriend, much less that she recognized and knew them from that one dinner she'd had with the pack. Instead, the girl was altogether quick to throw her arms around her boyfriend's waist from behind as her head buried into her shoulder. "I found you!" She muttered into the fabric of his shirt, though with a face full of cloth it....probably sounded more like 'mh mhh murr'. Either way, she was SAFE now. Mission: success.
