Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian

His Royal Highness, The Crowned Prince of Italy

Silently, the Italian Prince watched the sleepy feline as he stalked across the livingroom and towards his preferred blanket. Although Sebastian could never imagine leaving behind an animal...so too could he see the sense in it, with what had transpired within Carolina's life in her absence. The cat was unlikely to have survived the cruelty of Carolina's captor and she would have been surely in a worse state having lost him. His thoughts were drawn from the feline as Carolina herself approached the table, her hips swaying slightly with each movement in a way that Sebastian found so terribly distracting as she placed those mismatched plates in front of him. The vampire had hardly forgotten his promise, however, to explain that ribbon that so ensnared her curiosity. It was the very least that he owed her and yet...Sebastian could hardly help but to be momentarily distracted by the rich scent of chocolate so cloying the air in front of him. Carefully, Sebastian utilized the side of his fork to break off a portion of his crepe, only to lift it and slide it into his mouth with a soft sound of satisfaction. Chocolate would forever be Sebastian's greatest weakness.

Despite the very desire to indulge in the crepe, the Prince was hardly one to simply ignore his promises and so, without a word of warning, Sebastian reached up to pluck a bright red ribbon seemingly out of thin air. The satin ribbon so quickly coiled around and around in the palm of his hand only to end as abruptly as it started. He held out his hand towards her, allowing Carolina a chance to inspect it before he put down his fork and gestured for her wrist. He tied the ribbon around her wrist as he vaguely explained the benefit of the seemingly innocuous thread. Sebastian watched as her fingers ran over the surface, the ribbon disappearing some moments later as the vampire returned to his own dessert as he spoke of the very limitations of their new found bond, even if it was not yet entirely complete. It was his very belief that he'd notice her absence, however, that caused her nose to wrinkle in a hint of playfulness. A warm smile brushed across Sebastian's features as he chuckled softly in response. "Mmm....maybe just that part the most." He uttered, hardly serious even as the vampire gave her a teasing wink.

The Englishman hardly anticipated the query she had in turn. No one, after all, had ever attempted to utilize those same threads to find Sebastian - not even his own husband. His head tilted to the side in consideration, it had been...centuries since the vampire had taken another mortal for his own keeping. He'd hardly had this power then and she had not held even an ounce of magic within her veins. In this, the pair were broaching uncharted territory, of sorts. Sebastian took another bite of his crepe, chewing it thoughtfully as he watched Carolina savor her own crepe. His request, and the idea tumbling through his mind, immediately earned him the full weight of those teal colored irises, Carolina hardly as keen, it seemed, to part with even a bite of her dessert. A rueful grin crossed Sebastian's features, "Don't I always, love?" He inquired almost mischievously before motioning down to the crepe on his plate with the tip of his fork. "I'll trade you for a piece of mine." A piece of his that he had equally as many plans for as he did hers. Sebastian cut off a bite of his crepe, topped ever so neatly with whipped cream, only to hold it up with his fork. "Well? Do we have a deal, Carolina?"
