Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

SILENT IN MY SANITY Carson

In the darkness that surrounds me
I see my own special hell

Cole often himself waking up first. And as a ritual, whomever was the first to stir out of bed, was to make the coffee. Even though Cole himself preferred to drink a Mountain Dew to wake up, he would make it just for Carson. As he set the timer, the dark liquid slowly filling up the pot (and the apartment with the strong smell of it), he walks into their bedroom to see Carson was still out like a light.

He stands there at their doorway for a moment, just staring at her with a smile, sipping on his soda. His stained gray t-shirt and baggy sweatpants, while Carson looked good even asleep, bedhead and all. To him, she was his everything. And he had to take in this small moment of tranquility, to acknowledge how far he had come. Then, he leaves, going back to the kitchen, but quietly. So quietly that not even the wooden floors made a sound. A few seconds later, he's tip-toeing to Carson's side of the bed, and he leans over, brushing her hair out of the side of her face and placing a loving, soft kiss on her cheek

Then, he yells "Rise and shine, Sweetheart!" Hoping to scare the living shit out of her for his own amusement. Then, it's revealed why he went back to the kitchen. A glass full of cold water is then thrown on Carson, and he laughs loudly, manically, like a mean child. Knowing very well that Carson would not just lay there, he runs out of the bedroom, and into the living room, jumping over the couch and placing it between them."I made you coffee, my Sweetness! So get woke up! We got a big day ahead of us!"

He's still laughing. So loud that their neighbors would surely hear everything. He isn't sure if she was going to be on the warpath, or the whine and cry one. He stands prepared for either, flight or fight! "I looooove you!" He says in a soothing, almost joking tone, now realizing his soda was by the coffee maker and if he had to get it, he'd have to face the wrath he created.
But oh, how he loved when Carson was mad. She just looked like danger, in all the good ways. So he pleads, "Truce? Truce? I really just ... I want my-" He runs to the kitchen, grabs his drink, only to find that it's a dead end.
