Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

long live the pioneers
rebels and mutineers

It was nothing, really. It at least gave him a quick pass on waking her so unpleasantly seeing as the whole debacle wasn't his fault. It was the least she could do after having yelled at him, and the dumbfounded look on his face when she rounded back to his door front was more than worth it. Civil as she is it is quite easy to be intimidating even as a slender girl with dark blonde hair, occasionally with a little predatory persuasion and a other worldly growl anything is possible; as showcased here. Standing before him in the dingy hallway with a cat cradled happily in her arms was not quite the custom as far as first meetings normally go, then again she was far from normal so perhaps it suited. As it were he studied her for a moment, the ghost of a smile on her lips at his momentary reticence before he seems to come to a decision. Stepping back to let her in she lets out a bright laugh at his words before following him in.

Her hazel eyes took a moment to dance around the apartment surreptitiously, not terribly unkempt but with the usual amount of mess that would be understandable. Hell, her own apartment, a mirror of this one it seemed, looked no better. "Love what you've done with the place," she quipped, amusement in her tone with no judgement. Occasionally her mouth had a mind of its own, so sue her. Still he may not have heard her, turning back to him she noticed he was rummaging through his fridge with the same intensity she had earlier, but still managed to catch his question quirking a smile at the way he went about it. Humor she appreciated, sarcasm even more so. She waited, however, until he had extricated himself from the kitchen appliance before she answered. "Carolina Grace, intimidating neighbors since 2008. The first time is free, but after that I have to charge you," she finished with a flourish and a wink, "but dear lord please never call me that, only my mother would use the full thing, Carolina will do just fine." The southern twang in her voice lilted around the apartment which seemed almost too quiet now that both neighbors noises had been silenced.

Her gaze had wandered to the cups and bowl he sat down on the counter, the corner of her lip twitching at the fact that he had brought out a vessel for Grayson as well. Points to him. "And what do I call you?" she ventured, tugging her eyes away from the carton of milk even as her tongue ran across her pink lips, "'Loud Ass Neighbor' will hardly do." The words were crass but they had an undercurrent of playful sarcasm that she was sure he wouldn't miss, or if he did this evening would be much shorter than she was beginning to hope. Leaning forward against the cool counter her dexterous fingers drummed upon the laminate surface, one eyebrow quirked up in intrigue.
