Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Despite the young witch's inquisitiveness as to just what her companion would so allow her to ask of him, the female hardly bothered to pursue the topic. Instead, Serafina let it dissipate with the wave of his hand, allowing her wish to simply fester in his mind until perhaps a later date. She was quite happy to leave both the ship and the were female behind her, instead content to merely tease the man for making her pay for a pizza she had hardly ordered in the first place. Regardless of her efforts to shove him in an almost playful fashion, the young woman was acutely aware of the tense muscles beneath her slender fingertips. She had felt the way he stiffened, clearly not prepared for her touch or perhaps anticipating something beyond the girl's flirtatious antics. And yet, that rigidness only managed to coax the woman further, to push that proverbial button. It was an action she might have done if not entirely aware that he disapproved of such strong advances. And so, without a word passing through her sweet heart lips, she let him twist and contort his way into justifying her payment for the pizza and merely fell silently into the driver's side seat of his vehicle.

For the most part, the girl remained quiet for the most of the drive, answering only the inquiries that he asked specifically of her. As happy as she was to leave the Ark, the events that had transpired there still laid so heavily upon the forefront of her mind. As of such, she was quite pleased to find something to throw herself into, even if it was the prospect of cooking dinner. There was a small wave of the girl's hand as she brushed off the man's eternal bristling behavior, instead content to rummage around his refrigerator for something she might be able to find of use. "Yes, someone has to. You must get tired of eating cheese." She commented, glancing back behind her at him before plucking out a piece of meat that was wrapped so delicately in plastic wrap. She paused for a moment, picking out a few more items from his fridge before rummaging around his pantry for the items necessary to complete a meal for the pair of them. She hardly paused her diligent search of ingredients despite Azrael's reference to her "voodoo".

"You know, for a Dark Hunter, you know surprisingly little about my kind. It's a little disappointing. I mean, have you ever bothered to try to at least understand other races or do you simply just kill them cause we're different and you were taught that we're all some terrible blight against humanity and must be eliminated." She paused, plucking several more objects from the pantry, placing it on the counter only to glance back at the man with her hand resting upon her hips. "That's the kind of thinking that started slavery." She added in a rather pointed fashion. The girl shrugged, bending over to take a frying pan from one of the bottom cabinets. "But...then again, maybe you were for slavery." She added in an afterthought, once again aware of the age difference that truly must lie between them.

Still, she hardly lingered on it long, instead letting her attention flow to his offer. "Why don't you cut and pound out the chicken then?" She inquired briefly although there was surely a dubious hint to her voice, as if she was unsure that he was capable of even that. After all, it wasn't as if grilled cheese was any great feat that required such delicate knife work. He was a Dark Hunter though - right? The girl stepped back, glancing over her pilfered offerings before inquiring with some measure of hesitance, "How do you feel about chicken parmesan? I know it's not amazing but...you have quite a mismatch of things in there." There was a soft sigh to her lips, a nearly disappointed look flittering across her features. It was almost as if she wished to impress him in some fashion - the man who held such high standards. Maybe once she wanted to exceed one and much to her dismay, she was hardly sure this would do it.
