Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

"If they hold even an ounce of the power of their blood then they are valuable, far more than their current pack anticipates and perhaps even more so then Nadya realizes. Children are a powerful pull- in either direction- unfortunately. Aiden is their Uncle, Tobias their Father, they are bound by blood to that pack and Nadya, as any Mother, desires some semblance of family and it is this family tie that continues to hold her there. By that same token however, her family's disagreement with their birth has driven a wedge between them- one I have perhaps.....exploited a little. It pleases me that you understand."

He merely allows his lip to lift ever so slightly, violet gaze drawn to her own as the faintest trace of amusement lingers upon his handsome features, his own fingers continuing to drum against the aside of his chair with absentminded ease. He sees no need to offer any further information on that particular matter, Edie having already proven to be decidedly more astute then he had perhaps given her credit for. She had readily seen the value in Nadya's children where others only saw a burden. Hmm, perhaps she was a far more prudent choice for his Beta then even he had anticipated, she understood what others did not, possessed some ability to think beyond what was presented to her. Edie having taken mere moments to understand his own desires in this and to see the sense behind them and his attempts to acquire Nadya for their own pack.

"We do have more to offer her, but these things take time. I am working on it."

That he had, in that time, developed a genuine affection for the woman remained to be seen, Frost seeing no need to afford Edie any true information in that regard. His personal affairs, after all, were his own. She need only be informed of those matters that afflicted their pack directly and his affections for Nadya and even his fondness for her children remained outside what the stallion deemed pertinent information for the moment. For now the equine focuses his attention upon the story he offers, regaling the tale of the event that had, on some level, begun this feud between packs. Edie's assurance that Raven moving to act against him was 'stupid' saw a chuckle of amusement roll readily from between his lips, Frost waving one hand dismissively.

"Stupid, yes, but the wolf is a product of her Alpha- she lacks any true discipline. I warned her- she chose to ignore it. She, as others, seemed to find my animal-form something of novelty. She mistook me for prey. I corrected her."

What had driven Raven to throw herself at him he still hardly knew. An Alpha did not become one simply by deciding to do as such. A being weak in either mind or body would crumble beneath the weight of such a task. Some Alpha's would prove to be more capable then others and yet each, at some stage, had proven to be something more then the others around him, or her, and had risen to such a position. Else they had been born with Alpha blood. A particularly potent thing among Were. Raven either seemed oblivious to the simple facts of hierarchy or chose to ignore them, it hardly mattered. She had paid the price in the end. Tetradore had merely not been astute enough to appreciate the free lesson he had so kindly afforded the wolf.

"Dull perhaps- though not totally stupid. He has quite a few powers in his arsenal and a number of resources at his disposal, including his Second- a rather idiotic Leopard, but a powerful one."

The memory of the shaggy haired deviant attempting to shoot him with a harpoon gun had hardly left his mind, Frost unwilling to underestimate his fellow Alpha entirely. After all, Nadya was currently in Aiden's possession and that alone displayed some level of sway the man still held over his sibling. Irritating though it was. Patience however, had always been key, Frost entirely content to wait for the right moment to make himself known once more. Her assurance that he is by far the more engaging individual sees his own lip quirk lightly once more before the man proceeds to offer his own words, Edie readily seeming to capture the intent behind them. Clever girl. How pleasing it was to speak to another whom showed some ability to actually think rather than have him detail each sentence to her as the majority of creatures in this city seemed to require. She reminded him, perhaps, of Calliel on some level. His blonde pack mate holding a similar flare for conversation. Edie's words on Nadya seeing the man from momentarily, unaware perhaps, of how entirely intuitive Edie was proving to be, nor the manner in which his own words were inclined to.....soften, even ever so slightly at the mention of Nadya that had so given away some deeper drive behind his desires to obtain the Hispanic feline.

"Nadya knows of my interest, she simply continues to refuse it, though her resolve weakens each time. I would not be against you seeking her out, however. She seems to feel I cannot get inside the Ark- but perhaps I myself don't have too."

One eye simply curves neatly upward, another soft chuckle humming within his chest as he moves to lean lazily forward within his own chair now, elbows resting atop his knees, stark white hair falling across his gaze as it seemed eternally destined to do- shielding the violet hue beneath as he regards the woman and her enthusiasm with measured curiosity.

"I don't order, I merely....request, but since you seem to desire a task then so be it. I request you go to the Ark on my behalf and see what you can find. Don't get yourself killed- it would be highly inconvenient for me."

He moves to stand smoothly then, toned, lean form stretching easily now before wandering to the far side of the room, easily moving to open the wooden cabinet there, plucking two shot glasses from within before turning to face his new Beta with an easy grin.

"There's time for you to infiltrate the Ark tomorrow though. You British drink more than tea don't you?"
