Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Edie was growing accustomed to the way that Frost ate, the man's appetite as refined as he was. As such, the way that Kato ate was... mildly shocking to her. She'd barely slid onto the counter when he'd pulled the plate to him. His eating habits were much more accustomed to the way a vacuum cleaner worked. It reminded her of watching a dog eat, and Edie couldn't help but put a hand on his arm. "Bites, dear. The food isn't going to be taken from you if you chew." Still, despite that, she made no real effort to stop him, instead just watching the ample helping disappear quickly into Kato's mouth. She'd only considered that the portion that she'd gave him wasn't quite enough when he'd began to speak. She paused in her desire to get up to serve him more with the information of why he was here. She relaxed as he moved in front of her, allowing the man to move in between her legs. Her own fingers moved to rest on Kato's arms, a smile brightening on her lips against her better judgment.
This was just for tonight. The thought went through Edie's head over and over again. Tomorrow, she'd kick this idiot out of her bed and she'd forget all about him. For tonight, she'd turn on the giggles and the looks. For tonight, she was playing a part that she knew all too well. The delicate dance, the gentle touches, those looks. Or at least, that's what she'd tell herself when he began explaining exactly what he meant about traveling. Edie listened intently, her fingertips moving up his arm to trail down his chest, tracing small circles over his chest as he spoke. There was something about the way he spoke and the look in his eyes that made Edie's heart seem to speed up. "I do," She said very softly, hardly putting up a fight as he pulled her forward. Her hands moved up to rest on his shoulders, grinning up at him.
"I left Yorkshire for the same reason. Or similar ones," It was perhaps the most honest she'd been with anyone since she'd left home. To Frost, she'd admitted she wanted power. Of course that was part of it. But it was that wanderlust just as much. She'd been offered to be married to the Beta of their own pack â€" a story she'd twisted in her own favor when she'd recounted it to Frost. In fact, he hadn't been older than her, hadn't been marrying her to solidify his status. In fact, she'd cared about him, maybe even loved him. But it was that terror of settling that had been the reason she'd bolted from the situation. She wanted to see things, too. She didn't want to live without knowing what else was out there. "You should see Yorkshire." Her voice dropped to a gentle, quiet tone that was so unlike the one she'd used with him until this point.

It was rare, really, for the girl to drop the sarcasm out of her voice, though she did it now as she spoke. "There's so much green. And hills as far as the eye can see. The most beautiful place," She spoke of home with a tiny pang of homesickness, one she smothered quickly. No, that was the type of weakness she wouldn't share. "Perhaps if you ever..." Perhaps if you ever visit Yorkshire, she'd meant to say, though her voice instantly trailed off. No, that was the type of commitment the girl wouldn't dare offer up. This was for tonight. For tonight. It didn't matter how he looked when he spoke to her, or how much her stomach fluttered under his touches. No, this was just for tonight. It was those thoughts that made her desire to leave the conversation as it was. Getting to know each other was stupid. She didn't tell the others how she felt or anything about her. She moved once more, headed for distraction for herself as she pressed her lips to his once more.
