Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Nadya Tetradore
The moment that the panther saw her brother nothing else mattered. Nadya was quick to abandon all other thoughts and playthings as she loped over, voicing her trials with Sam's apartment with little more than huffs and growls seeing as Tet couldn't understand her in this form. However, such complaining was replaced with the attempt to goad her brother into playing by wrapping herself about him and play biting at his calf. It wasn't purposeful that Nadya hadn't noticed Samantha and her swift turn of moods. It was simply a side effect of the recoil into her animal mind allowing only one issue at a time to deal with.
It wasn't until her brother detached her from biting at his calf that gaze her mind the moment to process that Samantha had walked away and was now sitting curled onto the floor crying. Nadya's ears twitched slightly in confusion, only just processing this information before her brother was crouched beside her and grabbing her scruff. It certainly succeeded in gaining her undivided attention. She hadn't been scruffed since a kitten and it was certainly displeasing. Nadya's ears flattened against her skull though she made no attempt to pull away or voice her displeasure. No, he was her brother and Alpha and wouldn't do such a thing. She listened as he spoke, her gaze sliding over to the indicated futon that was a volcano of stuffing now. There was no way for her to tell her brother that said destruction hadn't been intentional. Though once the destruction had been done she had had the itching need to play with the released stuffing.
Nadya shook herself once Tet had left her side to comfort Samantha, his shoving hardly more than a redirecting. It would take much more than a shove from him to harm the lean muscular jaguar. Her momentary displeasure at being scruffed quickly forgotten as she turned about to the bags that still sat by the door. There was little doubt in Nadya's mind that she could very much fix this. Her golden gaze surveyed the bags and pawing at one in particular, finding it satisfactory before carefully picking it and her purse up by the handles in her mouth. It was a bit of a juggle, dragging both articles across the floor to where the couple sat. Nadya released both at their feet, again pawing at the bag of clothes to spill out the outfit she had complimented Sam's legs in. The white top and red skirt had certainly looked gorgeous on her. The feline turned her attention to upending her purse which was undesirable but necessary in this form. The contents spilled out easily, scattering at the pairs feet; make-up, phone, wallet, gum, and assortment of catalogue trimmings for the burlesque. It was one particular tri-folded piece of paper that Nadya briefly placed her paw on to indicate before stepping back to lower her belly to the floor with her front legs stretched forward and her tail flicking across the floor behind her as she sent her own pointed look at Tet.
The paper was one she had meant to go over with Samantha when they had gone out shopping. The event had only been cut short because of the regrettable swift force of a shift. Printed on the document was Samantha's official letter of promotion to Acting Manager, detailing her duties and starting date, but in the box at the bottom was highlighted her new wage...making almost three thousand a month with Nadya's signature below it on the Owner's line. Surely if Samantha had known before that her situation had changed she wouldn't have started crying or reacted as she had. The young panther was sure that this would earn her the run with her brother.
