Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The very feeling of Aiden's body near her was enough for the woman to feel calmer. Her rapid heartbeat had returned to normal, her breathing slow and steady, her tears halted. It was remarkable, really, how much his presence soothed her. It was nice to have him be there to support her in handling Nadya. Of course, she was entirely oblivious to the promise her boyfriend had made his sister, the young fae simply believing that Nadya's actions in bringing her the clothing and the paper being just to be kind to her. She'd wasted no time in picking up the paper that was indicated to her, leaning back against Aiden's chest as she read the words that seemed to make no sense to her. That she was going to get such a substantial raise in pay had caused the girl to turn to the man behind her, sputtering out protests that even she knew he wouldn't be willing to do anything with. She knew the siblings stayed out of each others businesses, and his words only verified that as he offered her nothing more than a shrug. Though he did explain that that was a reasonable salary, the faerie girl still shook her head in disbelief.

Still, the woman quieted at Aiden's insistence it was a reasonable rate, the woman merely offering the feline a nod. "Okay," She said finally, looking down at the letter once more. She did the math quickly for herself, sure that the salary she was being promised would more than double her current income. It was a breath of relief for the faerie girl who was now struggling to care for two bodies instead of one. "Thank you. I won't... I won't let you down, Nadya." The promise seemed to fall on deaf ears, however, as the panther merely went back to pawing at Aiden's leg. Samantha shifted her body slightly, moving out of the way for the panther lest she decide that Samantha was as durable as Aiden seemed to be.

The faerie girl watched as the panther bounded away from them, clearly deciding that it was time to leave. Oh, that meant that Aiden would... No, even though the girl wanted his presence near her, even she was able to tell that it would be best if Nadya was taken back to the Ark instead of left to wreck havoc on the remaining things in her apartment. Still, Samantha was surprised at the way the feline shifted back to her human form. She'd suspected Nadya would stay away from that, though she didn't voice her surprise or make any move to stop the woman from digging through the clothes and dressing herself. Instead, she merely turned and nuzzled her nose into Aiden's neck, wanting just another moment of being near him. The faerie girl only looked up when Nadya spoke, though she didn't move from her spot against her boyfriend. "Of course, I'm always here for you," She said softly, watching as the woman moved to leave the apartment.

Only when she and Aiden were alone did the woman rise to her feet, waiting for the man to rise as well. She gave him a small, supportive smile as she moved to hug him again. "I think Nadya is wanting to get out of here, so you should probably go before she terrifies the locals," She teased, looking up at the man she was growing so fond of. "I need to clean up, lest Dorian come back and think we got robbed by bandits." She reached up once more, brushing his hair back in an affectionate gesture before she planted a sweet kiss on his lips. "Thank you for coming to get her. I just... didn't know what to do..."
