Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Her arms fall in around him, wrapping themselves around his waist. Satisfied she's ready, he puts the bike in gear. He starts off slowly traversing through the rough stone streets of the northern parts of town. He glides the bike effortlessly down, following her directions; at least Andy knew where they were off to. As soon as the tires hit the smooth pavement, he accelerates, engine purring loudly against the night air. The chilly winds wrap around at the duo, sending blonde hairs back towards the brunette as they traveled on. He feels her deadly delicate hands reach down, caressing his thigh as the wind rushes past them. He smiled to himself, thinking about the thoughts rushing through the bold brunettes mind. If you would have asked him two hours ago what he'd be doing tonight, this would fall short on his list; not that he objected he just honestly didn't see the witch in his future. He disregards the speed limit sign, doing well above its recommended speed. His left arm slides away from the handlebars, slipping down around behind him and resting above her knee. Thick fingers grasp her before quickly letting go to return his hand back to the bars. A smirk forms against his lips as she continues to direct him towards the victorian apartments. He'd not yet been to this part of town, it held an almost quaint homely vibe. They came to a stop sign on the almost empty streets; he decided to make use of this one instead of blatantly ignoring it. The roar of the Softails engine died down as the bike started to come to a halt. Thick soled boots dropped down to the pavement as he shifted his weight, stretching his body around towards Andy. His left arm dropped away from the bike again and snaked back up towards the witches body. Fingertips danced against the tight denim and worked their way up her cotton shirt, moving fluidly over her body and up to the soft skin of her face; his arm twisted to touch her. He flashed his fangs as his hand cupped around her face, he meant no threat and knew it wouldn't be taken as one; Andy seemed to like the close quarters she shared with the Vampire. He leaned back against her legs, tilting his head as his rough hand gently held her, pulling her slightly towards him. He breathed her in deeply, locking his eyes into hers. A playful smirk lit across his lips as he pulled slowly away from her, releasing the hold he kept on her smooth skin. He readjusted himself, spinning back around in the leather seat and drawing his hand back up to the handlebars once more. Chrome pipes thundered as he took off again, wind blasting back against them. He slowed to a more respectable speed as her instructions drew them closer to the apartments where he assumed she resided. Although from what little he knew about Andy, they could be breaking into some abandoned apartment for the thrill of it. He slowed pulling the bike into the parking lot she'd pointed towards. He looked out for an appropriate spot to park his iron beauty, avoiding the spots that looked more used or accessible. His soles hit against the pavement, backing the machine into the spot he'd picked out. Left foot working out the kick stand as he gently laid the Softail to rest, silencing her engine. He caught himself looking down first at his watch, there were only a few hours left before the sun rose and trapped him somewhere for the remainder of the long summer day. His mind shifted and he looked up and over his shoulder towards Andy with a sly look overcoming his features. "After you gorgeous." I sold my soul... just so I could feel paid. I broke my heart... so I couldn't feel pain. I lost my faith... 'cause I can't justify the weight. I've got no hope... that's only for losers and fakes. |
