Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
The assassin couldn't decide if she was impressed by the way the woman did not flinch with the knives embedding in the wall or just plain senseless. Letting her hands drop to her sides in a relaxed position, the witch simply tilts her head at the obvious insult the other woman was letting roll off her tongue. Vhal had certainly been called much worse but any comments regarding her hair tended to end in blood shed. The assassin was strangely proud of her unique hair and when she came kicking and screaming into this world Vhal had a full head of white hair, stained red by blood. Growing up she had received all manners of insults; why she was so aggressive when it came to her unique feature.
She really wanted to cut the woman's tongue out.
Shrugging her shoulders at the were's comment, she lets her lips curve into a sardonic smile. "I don't have a mother," she grins at the cocky woman and is pleased when she finally makes her move. Flashing a hand out, her slender fingers wrap around Edie's wrist squeezing tightly on the pressure points causing the knife to fall onto the couch, embedding itself up to the hilt. Cringing inwardly at the tear, Vhal knew she owed her faerie queen a new one. She would have to have a little chat with Sam about the furniture as well as the security on her home.
With a firm grip on the were's wrist, Vhal surges forward across the couch and with her momentum, she flies into the other woman, white hair streaming behind her, slamming her against the wall hard enough to cause the stranger to hit her head onto the wall. Moving an arm up to brace it roughly against the were's chest, Vhalla reaches over with her other hand and snags the knife stuck in the wall, positioning it at the woman's side. "I know more than a few fancy tricks with a knife," the assassin growls in her ear, almost like a like a lover. With that, the witch adjusts the pressure on the steak knife, not hard enough to break skin merely just to let the were know what type of position she was in.
Wary of her own bare feet and Edie's shoes, she kept a respectful distance away so as to not get her toes crushed if the were wanted to try something cute. Cracking another humorless grin at the woman, "Now, let's try this again," she purrs, pressing more of her weight into Edie's, "Why are you here?"
