That scream so filled that night sky that surrounded her, sending the nearby birds a flight in a frenzy of frantic panic. It was rare for a ghost to be so powerful enough to pierce the void between life and dead and yet, the fear that radiated from this little girl was. Her eyebrows furrowed as she pivoted on her feet, her gaze quickly searching the tree line with that ice poised and ready above her head. Her stormy eyes landed upon the man upon the tree, those large wings that protruded from his back made her eyes widen ever so slightly, the woman entirely taken back as that curse word fell from her lips. That ice beside her cracked, her need to attack evaporating as the girl's thoughts turned inward, so contemplating exactly what she had done to prompt the existence of this demon to so invade her life. Her gaze shifted towards that ghost, quite indignant that the child she'd put so much effort into assisting had only guided her into a trap. A huff left her lips, her gaze shifted at the movement of the man before her, the girl weary and yet....she was rather certain that he was not going to harm her in any fashion.
Her stormy eyes remained steady upon him despite the sounds of the young child crying that still invaded her ears, the young witch was content to simply watch as his body slowly descended before her, those wings tucking closely to his body as he closed what little distance existed between them. He was taller than her, her head tilted upwards ever so slightly in order to ensure her gaze remained upon his own. He was handsome, she supposed, for a demon, the man certainly seemed particularly fit and yet, he seemed far too pleased with himself. Serafina's lips pressed together as her gaze shifted from the man to the child and back again. It seemed fairly far fetched, the man's insistence that he used ghosts to draw his victims here, ghosts that most couldn't even see....except her. A glimpse of doubt crossed her features his own gaze shifted towards...what was he even looking at?
Her gaze remained upon the man as he so nonchalantly rid himself of...well something. Serafina hardly missed that husky tone to his lips, that simple sound of his voice caused the kitten to tilt her head, considering the creature before her for a moment before she regarded him with the true, a more tired tone to her melodic lyrics, as if he should surely know this.
