South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. A nap? If it was a nap that this panther disturbed than she would surely be a hell of a lot less amicable. It would be wise to not disturb this wolf from a sweet dark slumber. She fought tooth and claw to even be standing here today as the wolf the panther saw before her. She tips her head in a wolfish manner, those golden eyes gleaming as though the very sun rested with in her, glowing out from those spheres. "If it were a nap you disturbed, I doubt there would be very much talking. I don't like being woken up." Her mouth parts slightly which only exposed those very ominous ivory incisors while her voice brushes against the mind of a fellow were. A stranger and yet there is a hint of something else. Perhaps that is why she refuses to melt back within the tangled depths of the forest.

The other woman continued to speak. So was she hunting or napping she wasn't quite sure? Was the feline nervous at what that dark little thorn would do? Little did the panther woman know that this very wolf had overcome a pack whose very motto was fight for what you want. That was very often exploited by sheer greed and the desire for more even though there was enough food for all. The fat got fatter and the skinny suffered in famine. They would fight over scraps like the very balance of life depended on it, like savages, and in a way, it still disgusted her. But Mira had always been different, the black sheep if you will. Always forged a new path for herself, one that was always so different from the rest. She hunted her own meals and defended them but nothing more and nothing less. One thing was for damn sure, she was no filthy vulture. But she was an impressive huntress, even within these foreign woodlands.

"You disturbed my hunt.. you see, I had this perfect doe within my sights. Well, I thought felines were silent hunters. I guess I was dead wrong." Amusement stitched within the fabric of her voice. If only she had known that ache to catch something was almost as much as that untamed yearning to run. To let her paws carry her far beyond thoughts and shattered dreams. She let her nails dig into the dirt that gave way beneath them, as though her paw drew a line within that damp ground. Her thick tail remained neutral, despite its desire to curl upward. She was dominant by nature, possessing a heart made of lava.

Despite this, she had fully anticipated that the feline had thought she had wanted her catch. Hell, she all but laid on her prey in such a manner that screamed 'mine'. She was threatened by this midnight wolf that ventured so bravely into her clearing. "You don't need to tie your tail in a knot. I don't want your dead thing." Sarcasm dances alive within her words before she sighed, her demeanour rather nonchalant. But that still didn't resolve the very conundrum that she was still hungry, feeling the rumble of pangs within her belly, all because this one couldn't keep her piglets in a row. "There are ways to make this right.." She offered. There was far larger prey lurking in these woods, surely a small piglet would be a tasty morsel but a deer sounded far more appealing and bigger. "Now I don't need your help. However, with an extra set of teeth, perhaps we can find something far more worthwhile and efficiently." A peace offering perhaps?
