South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It was good that she was at least attempting to be social with another wolf. No one could fault her at all for being cautious around another wolf. It was sad in a way. To have a fear of her own sub-species, it was quite silly, and yet it was there, and real as it could be. Like all things it would take time to overcome her thoughts and feelings to lupines, to see them not as potential torturers, but prospective acquaintances or more. It did help her out that Mira was female and not male. This particular meet and greet would not have occurred if Mira was male. She was trying, she was making a strong effort. Seeing the other wolf lie down beside her did bring her more ease. She wasn't in a position to attack her and if she did lunge at her, Raven would at least have the upper hand. She had never heard of someone having control over lava. A lot of witches held some sort of affinity for the elements, but not one of them had something as destructive as lava. It was imperative that those that held some sort of power know how to wield it correctly. It had taken years of practice for the oddly colored lupine to really hone in and develop on her own skills. The idea that Mira might possibly use it her lava under duress or by accident wasn't quite comforting to know. Which led to her pondering the idea that maybe she would take her to Serafina. After all, Raven did see the woman create ice. Different type of element, but perhaps there was similarity in the basics of it that could apply to controlling lava. Hesitantly she spoke up playing with the possibility that Mira and her witch could meet up.

"I have a witch, err I'm her familiar. She doesn't have lava, but she has ice or at least something to make It cold, she might be able to help you learn how to control it."

She was attempting to be helpful. Mira wasn't pack, but she didn't belong to Frost and his harem. If there was any power that Raven loved, it was her capability of moving objects. Time and time again her telekinesis came in handy. It made cleaning and cooking such a breeze! She could actually lift things or summon them to their proper place, prepare a good meal while cleaning the kitchen items she was done using. When it came to keeping herself safe by attacking others or defending those close to her, she was grateful to have this particular gift. Of course she would pickup her feline habits from her pack mates. It was Tobias that constantly kept inflicting his kitty cat ways on her and she learned how to communicate with him correctly the same way. It was a shame though that the two of them didn't like their lupine fellows. Out of all the werewolves in the world, the two that didn't trust their own kind were talking to one another. What had occurred in Mira's life was not something Raven would pry into. If she wished to talk about her past, she could, but she wouldn't poke and prod. Too many times wolves were seen as ideal representatives of family, supporting and working together for the benefit of everyone. It was the next inquiry that truly had Raven turn her dial to stare at the wolf, with a look of complete puzzlement. Raven didn't mind the boys having a night to themselves. It would do her well to have a moment to herself for the night, to enjoy her night stroll. What she did wish though was for another member of the pack to be a girl, it would be nice. Yet what girl would want to live at the Ark where fights occurred every night in the seediest part of town.

"We hang out all the time though, day in and day out, everyone needs a break from each other. Let the boys have fun with one another, it doesn't bother me."

That next question though had the woman grow quiet. Gently her grey paws would shove into the ground, almost like she was kneading it, as she contemplated on this. She was a wolf. She could turn into one. She could bark, growl, hunt, run, and wag her tail like one. The one thing she couldn't do was howl. What wolf couldn't do something like that? A howl was supposed to be not only a form of communication, but a way to express one's soul. She had no song to sing. She felt comfortable walking around her fur. Of course there were times she enjoyed and hated being in her wolf form. She enjoyed playing and hunting with her pack mates or curling up against them to sleep. It had taken a while, but she would answer quite gently.

"Running, I feel something when I run. When I hunt or play with my pack, when I enjoy a good sprint by myself, chasing prey for need or fun, or even just to feel the wind in my fur...I feel something stir and I like it.
